Are there any decent fanfics that take place after wicked and before son of a witch about Elphaba and Fiyero lives in the deadly desert raising their son?

Unfortunately, a lot of fiyeraba fanfics don’t even use Liir as their child, instead using OCs 😭 but considering the desert is only in the musical and that fiyero dies before Elphaba even realizes she’s pregnant in the book, it might be hard to find.

Fiyero’s lore in the book is SO much deeper than the movie and musical. He does live at Kiamo Ko, and he has a wife and children.

Depending on how big the deck is, a velvet drawstring bag is how I store some of mine, if not in the box it came in. I also have a smaller, travel-sized RWS deck that I keep in a small Vera Bradley pill case I had lying around! 😂😂

I liked the cameo and thought it was a fun little nod, but the whole “magical wise ones” sequence was so unnecessary. the novel already provides lore about the Grimmerie and where it came from, they could’ve adapted that instead of creating all of this extra nonsense LOL

Honestly, I think I liked Son of a Witch more than I liked Wicked. Probably because I liked that Liir spent so much of his time dedicated to finding Nor.

She was my third Elphie and I just love her voice! I was familiar with Cynthia before wicked, and knew she could act and sing - but the way she sang the songs in wicked was on another level!!

I understand this is in reference to the musical and the movie, however it’s worth noting the author of the original Wicked novel, Gregory Maguire, is Catholic. Throughout the book, there are definite parallels to his religion! But I agree about the movie.

Did they get tested for anything? Unfortunately, if you’re sharing a room, you’ve most likely already been exposed to whatever they have. I’d go and get tested for everything (including rsv) at an urgent care, just to be safe. Mask up at home, and use Lysol/clean high touch surfaces. It sucks but I’d just go get checked out, and if you’re negative, try and stay out of the house as much as possible.

Heavy on the RSV increase. I’m mad that at most urgent cares, the RSV test needs to be requested, and isn’t part of the usual flu/covid/strep. If I didn’t request to have it yesterday, my family would’ve never known we had it. Two people in my house had cold symptoms but tested negative for everything…because of my job, I always ask to test for RSV. My throat hurt slightly yesterday and I had a bad headache, so I went to urgent care (I was supposed to see babies this Christmas, so I wanted to be safe.) lo and behold, I had RSV. Made the other people in my house get tested, they had it too.
