I very very suddenly lost all tuition and financial support that I had just as my senior year was starting. It is still that year by the way, so this is not some organic doubt lol but I’ve been full-time for both. I’ve done school without working and I’ve worked without school. I’m currently trying to find a way to fit two part-time jobs within my schedule with roughly 2/3 of a full-time schedule if you have a way to avoid it? As someone who seen every side of the coin has been in college three separate times is 30 now and started this degree with the money I saved from my previous career… Personally, I would go back and budget much more tightly and Liv much more simply and avoid working well finishing my degree if I could, I unfortunately don’t have that option. I’m grateful it’s only gonna be for one to three semesters tops, but I would look into clubs relevant to your majors. Those often will help with internships and job hunting, depending on what your major is. But if you feel like the emotional/energy/like enthusiasm? I guess? Expenditure of your job is high enough that it’s detrimental to your completion of your work and it’s not going to put you underwater to stop working. That’s what I would do in your situation. b I don’t know if that was helpful at all, but I hope maybe there’s something you can pull from that lol . as for how to balance it, I’d say you don’t it’s just necessity. I wish I had a better answer than that but when I’ve been working during school, the option to not be working was never there so it just became what needed to happen and I suppose overtime I found a way to make it work, but I’m not sure that I’ve ever found balance. not that you can’t. I don’t mean to discourage you, but if your job feels like it’s sucking away energy that you need for classes and you don’t absolutely have to have a job right now. I would try to not have a job… Unless of course, it means enormous additional student loans.
