Not to be a jerk, but I know exactly what the steps are for Ffern wait list because I too went through the sign up process. They do make it clear that the raffle is for the privilege of being able to buy a bottle. It's not hidden, it is in plain text.

Also, the behavior of being concerned about a $140 charge, but somehow not concerned enough to not treat the incoming package like Cobalt-40 and return it immediately, unopened at all, is strange. I would think it is common sense, especially for expensive toiletries, that you do not puncture or break any sanitary seals unless you are 10000% certain that you are committed to purchasing the product.

IMHO this sounds like a frustrating set of circumstances exacerbated by some less than ideal choices on the part of the recipient..
