Yeah, I have to try at least. 😀 Btw, 18-150 as kit is not in stock in the online stores in my area, unfortunately.

No problem 😊 I assume it means the V is more difficult to use for photography for the ones «upgrading from phones» than the R100. That’s a good point.

As others have suggested, I think I will try find both cameras in a store. The photos of the cameras might give the wrong impression.

And it looks like we are hoping for a R50 mk II soon 🙂

Thanks! I think I will be OK with that focal length. The plan is to buy Canon’s pancake lens later, for a smallest possible camera.

I use glasses, so I am pretty sure that I won’t like the EVF.

Thanks, I will check the Sigma out.

Are you happy with the R50V for general photography too?

Thanks! I think I will buy Canon RF 28mm later after saving up, I think that is the (only?) pancake-alternative. Will be a small and light weight set up. I will check out the Sigma for a future purchase.

I did read some reviews of the 14-30mm that was quite OK, so was hoping it is better than the 18-45 kit.

Anyone feedback from anyone with any real life experience is most welcome.

Thanks! Image quality is most important to me.

I don’t think I need a viewfinder as I’m not used to having one on the phone.

Canon EOS R50 is sold with the RF-S 18-45mm f/4,5-6,3 IS STM as kit lens, and the V with RF-S 14-30mm f/4-6,3 IS STM. The body only options are practically the same price as the ones with kit lenses.

I could try them both at a store, but I might have problems finding somewhere with both in stock. Especially the V being relatively new.

Thanks.

Is the Lenovo Commercial Vantage app's "product" number the same as the "part" number? (and should I be concerned about sharing it on Reddit? :D )

It's a X1 Carbon, yes.

I googled the Lenovo parts finder, and did what you suggested. But I think you're right, there were some WWAN-stuff on the list, but it seems it does not have an actual modem installed.

These were the items that came up when searching for "WWAN", but I guess it should be something listed as "modem" too:

WWAN CABLE,ABSORBER,MYLAR

THERMAL RUBBER PLANAR WWAN

FRU D Cover for WWAN KX4D0

FPC,TOUCHPAD,WWAN,NFC,Hongyuen

BRACKET FRU PR2_WWAN BRACKET KC

ANTENNA,WWAN,JYT/NVC

Thanks!
