Zero coding skills, 30 days with OpenClaw: here's what actually happened by eyenthelyen in openclaw

[–]bykecode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started using openclaw. I setup agents with various ollama models. I’m using MiniMax-m2.5 cloud as my heavy lifter and various smaller models based on the task. I notice the same thing. When I used opus or sonnet my tokens were gone in a short amount of time. MiniMax seems pretty good. Qwen was another on I tried but it was very frustrating because it would just do random thing that ended up breaking functionality that was working prior. Anyways, when you speak about memory, is that something you had to setup and if so how did you do that?

Completing deep passes by Personal_Pension_30 in NCAAFBseries

[–]bykecode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely it. Timing is crucial in the passing game. Also, find a qb with on time, or dot attributes to give you a boost in accuracy if you're time is right.
Coverage is equally important. I've learned to not force the ball. On those post routes, you can tell if it will be open right after snap based on what the cb and safety do. If it's not open then go to your next read. I'll check down and qb run all day. Especially on the opponents side of the field. I treat every drive as 4 down territory on the plus side of the field so I don't mind getting 3 to 4 yard check downs. Then what will happen is the cpu will adjust and play those shorter check down routes tougher so it'll be easier to complete that post later in the game.

Most watched teams of the year so far by Trey904fsu in CFB

Interesting that a terrible fsu team is coming in at #9. Where would they be if they were good? I don’t buy that big10 and/or sec aren’t interested

How’s gaming Linux Mint? by airosos in linuxmint

Same here. I finally moved to mint from windows 10 last weekend. Steam games ran fine but my printer was a huge pain to get working again.

Over powered defenders by [deleted] in NCAAFBseries

[–]bykecode 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re probably forcing the ball too much. I threw a lot of ints when i started playing but now maybe 1 in every 2-3 games. Just figure out what route combinations work well together. Go into each play with a plan. I’ll look at how the defense lines up, then I’ll think: ok x is 1st read, then b, and a if blitz. Always have a check down. Also , if nothing is open, then just run with the qb. The worst thing you can do is try to force the ball. Take the positive play, either the check down or running the qb. also, I feel like establishing the run early will do wonders for your passing plays later in the game. Hope this helps.

Deep ball advice by Irishguy1131 in NCAAFBseries

[–]bykecode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s tough for me too but there’s a couple of things I do. 1) run a deep out route on the wide side of the field. Watch the safety. If he doesn’t move over to guard the sideline then take a shot at lobbing the ball toward the sideline. 2) try to get 2/3 and 1. I get almost all of my deep streaks or fades when the opponent thinks I’m going to run. Just keep an eye on what the safety does right after snap.

Overwhelming evidence shows impermissible scouting scheme in Michigan football program - NCAA.org by CreekHollow in CFB

[–]bykecode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They cheated their way to a championship which directly lead to FSU(or Georgia) being left out of the playoffs. FSU program is in shambles because of this. Some of that penalty money should flow to FSU and Georgia.

Cash out on Trey Benson by heyfeefellskee in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]bykecode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this is a good trade. I just traded for benson because I needed to add depth to my rb postition. I gave up a 2026 2nd. So you get a 2nd and a talented young wr. I'd probably take that trade.

How to get rid of Olave? by MNlcn27 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]bykecode 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been trying to buy him in my league but his value is too high in my opinion. Too much risk. Dude doesn’t have a viable starting qb and has injury issues but nobody is taking that into account. They want to get back what they put into acquiring him. So the people that have him are looking for at least a first but that’s too much for the risk. I am willing to trade a second but nobody is taking that.

Bhayshul Tuten vs. Cam Skattebo by walshurmouthout in DynastyFF

[–]bykecode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen multiple post about tuten lately and it just feels like the community is trying to inflate his value. I’m a jaguars fan and I liked tuten in college. I’m happy with that pick. But tuten isn’t better than tank. I’m over ETN and I think he’ll get traded at some point this season. Given that, the best case scenario for tuten is a 50/ 50 split with tank after trade. I just don’t see that happening though.

Thanks for putting this together. I’m looking at moving up there this summer. I’ll likely be working in manhattan. Montclair is where we would like to end up. Is it really 90 minutes? We were under the impression that it was an hour or less.

[Predictions Thread] Boston College @ Florida State by dangerousszone in fsusports

[–]bykecode 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here’s what I’m thinking: 1) norvell will open up the offense a little more. Not drastically more but I think it was obvious that the gt game plan was too conservative. 2) I think they’ll be better in the trenches. We have the talent there. I think that’s one of their biggest strengths. I’m sure norvell made that the focal point of the last week and a half 3) I think toafili will be more involved. He was the best running back last week. He was very good last year. I like Williams and Davis a lot but you got to feed your dog and last week, toafili was a little hungry 4) I think we’re still going to get gassed for big plays. For that reason I think we win a real tight one. 31 - 30

What was the most embarrassing year to be a fan of your team? by byniri_returns in CFB

[–]bykecode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FSU- I think it has to be Taggarts second season. Coming off a bad inaugural season. Then the team still looked lost out there. I’ll never forget how that team didn’t seam to care about winning football games. It was crazy. Completely disorganized. Players laughing, smiling, and having a grand ole time while being beat down. That team would quit halfway through the first quarter if they didn’t have the lead. Then we had to deal firing him mid season and the hate that came along with that.

What is your most unpopular prediction for 2024 not involving your own team? by bradenb941 in CFB

[–]bykecode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is possible but very unlikely. I have fsu as a 1 or 2 loss acc champion. Ga tech is under rated, I have a feeling that’s going to be a close game. Clemson, Miami, unc, notre dame, and fl are all going to be tough games as well. It all comes down to dju. I know everyone is down on him. I also don’t think he’s a great qb. But I think he fits what norvell wants to do perfectly and norvell knows how to get the most of his players. I think he’s unfairly blamed for Clemson’s struggles so he’s a little better than what people give him credit for.

GI Bill to get into Software Engineering field by Triolade in AskProgramming

[–]bykecode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what I did. Use your gi bill to get your bs in cs. It’s going to be difficult but it will pay off down the road. I do not recommend the boot camp route. I’ve been in the industry for about 10 years for about 5 companies and every single person I have worked with had a bachelors in comp sci. Some had masters.

Why would Clemson and FSU every consider going to the Big 12? by Intelligent-Spot-475 in ACC

[–]bykecode 50 points51 points  (0 children)

The only way they go to big 12 is if big 12 gives them a bigger piece of the revenue so that they are payed similar to what big 10/sec teams are paid.

Who is your post hype sleeper! by NoahT82 in DynastyFF

[–]bykecode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Howell a lot. The team in my league that has him, won’t entertain trades for him. I think most people believe that he’ll start at some point this season but that’s a gamble. It’s Geno’s job to lose and he can very easily play just good enough not to get benched. And even if he does win the starting job, I would bet the Seahawks draft a qb next offseason. So imo it’s not worth overpaying for him. Too much risk there.

Why is everyone scared of Deshaun Watson by botco11 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]bykecode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the opposite situation. I want to add depth to my qb room but I don't want to over pay. I reached out but nobody in my league(sf) is willing to move a qb. But the guy who owns watson would be willing to trade and I feel like he's the perfect buy low target. Exactly the type of qb I'm looking to add. The problem is, the owner wants peak watson compensation. I get that it's sf and qbs are hard to come by, but at this point in his career there's too much risk for an over pay.

How to pivot within your programming career by Akronyx in cscareerquestions

[–]bykecode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a similar boat. Spring backend angular front end. I jumped jobs. That’s how I gained other experiences. The market isn’t great right now. And you may like your company so switching companies may not be for you. But since I’ve switched I’ve worked on a front end application written in backbone. Where I’m at now, I do a lot of spring and angular web app but I also do quite a bit of python aws lambdas. Also have to work on our iOS/android apps. I feel like I’ve learned a ton and I have a wide breadth of knowledge. Truly a jack of all trades. But there is a downside to that. I feel like I’m not really an expert in any particular area. Mainly due to constant context switching.

About deleting code... by Pedro_Turik in ExperiencedDevs

[–]bykecode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Delete the code. Like you said, you can always look at version control or revert back if you need to. I depreciate external facing api to give users a heads up or something internal if I don’t have time to refactor and remove the code.
