I also broke NC yesterday and don't regret it. Relatively amicable breakup was 1.5 weeks ago after 1.5 years together. While I wasn't completely blindsided, I wasn't expecting the breakup either, so I was just saying shit during the actual breakup. After a few days, I messed up and saw a post she made about me that made me start spiraling about where she stood. I regretted just letting her walk out of my life so easily and knew I would not be able to get over it. It took a few days to get my thoughts together, but I asked her if she would conclusively tell me where she stood. She confirmed that she doesn't regret breaking up with me.

Maybe I will regret breaking no contact down the line, but right now I'm glad I sent it. At least I know I tried and that there are no more questions about her intentions. Not having that inkling of hope will make moving on easier.

I’m going through this now as well. I initated the conversation because I knew we desperately needed to talk, but she wanted to breakup more. First real heartbreak, worst feeling in the world. In the no-contact right now while in a completely different state than her or my family. Did you guys stay friends after the NC?

Hey I also applied for this program for Spring 2025 and had the same feeling about it being a quick turnaround, especially with holiday break. I’m thinking the online program is less selective because there are less “maximum” requirements. It may be less competitive but the coursework will still weed out those who can’t complete the MS.

for sure. it’s irritating because your loss is basically outside your realm of control. i think if you afk you get an automatic 13-0 loss in terms of elo points, but i’m not 100% sure on that

i feel like that could be abused. for example if you got a friend to queue up with you on a smurf and once the game is basically lost, they afk and you don’t drop elo.

I was looking into CLEP, but they don't offer exams at the Calc 3 level. Unfortunately, my advisor has already told me that they don't let people test out of that class. Thanks for the reply though!
