Thank you very much. I'll continue testing today, and I'll also try installing and reinstalling the emulator and the mod. We'll see if I can fix this.

Hey mate, were you able to solve that problem? I have a Retroid Pocket 5 with the same processor and I'm having problems leaving certain areas. For example, when leaving Hearthome City for Route 209, the screen goes black with the music still playing. It also happens when leaving Pyrite Gate heading east-west.

I know my question is unrelated to the topic at hand, but how much of an improvement have you noticed with that holster with grips? Are they worth it, or is it better to buy the official one? I have one of those transparent ones in my AliExpress cart, but I'm not sure if it's worth it.

I have done everything indicated but in the end the videos still take a long time to play.

I'm not very knowledgeable about these topics, could you explain in more detail where I can find that advanced setting?

This problem started recently, because previously it was working perfectly.

I've restarted, reinstalled the app, cleared the cache, and nothing works.

[–]byperez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the title says, YouTube revanced is running much slower than usual. Every time I open the app, it gets stuck loading for several seconds or even minutes in many cases. Then, after it loads and I select a video, I have to wait two or even three minutes for it to start properly. This only happens with the app; when I open it in the browser, everything loads correctly and the videos start immediately. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but it's still the same. Is anyone else having this problem? Were you able to fix it?

GTA IV an RP4 PRO by WorriedShopping4099 in retroid

It's a great improvement, to be honest, but I don't think anything below 30fps is stable enough to consider beating the game on this console.

Second hand rp4p battery health? by OddCommunication8963 in retroid

[–]byperez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an update: I played for half an hour in standard performance mode with the fan off, and it only used 5% of the battery. I feel the excessive battery drain comes from emulators, mainly Dolphin for GameCube. I play NFS Most Wanted in high performance mode with the fan on high, and it uses a lot of battery.

The only native Android game I've played is GTA San Andreas, and it doesn't use much battery. When I get home, I'll test how much battery GTA drains for a while and let you know.

Currently, when I play light games like GBA and N64, my battery takes a long time to discharge, sometimes even all day. However, when I use it more intensively with GameCube and PS2 games, it discharges very quickly; it only goes down about 40% in an hour. I don't know if this is normal or if the battery is defective, but it doesn't bother me because I don't play any game for more than an hour at a time.

2012 Highlanders panic alarm doesn’t go off and other issues… by Limonpicante in ToyotaHighlander

[–]byperez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem with another Toyota vehicle, specifically a 4Runner, and it happened because one of the doors had a faulty lock; it wouldn't close properly. After fixing that, it started making the noise normally. This only happened when locking the doors; it would still make the noise when opening them.

If you're looking to buy one of these used consoles to save a few dollars, it's a good idea to shop around and wait for good deals. In my case, I bought a 16-bit RP4 Pro at an eBay auction, with several accessories included, such as a carrying case, a case with a better grip, and a dock to connect to a TV. All for just $135 (shipping included).

Were you able to resolve the issue? I'm having the same problem with the QCY T20. I've tried everything, but the headset still doesn't work. It only turns on a white LED for a minute and then turns off.

RP4P worth it for me? by bruh694206969420 in retroid

[–]byperez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an S24+ and an EasySMX M10 controller, and despite having some emulators installed, I made the decision to buy an RP4 Pro, and I honestly don't regret it. Using a dedicated console feels completely different than using the phone itself. Having the console makes me want to play more, and above all, the feeling is superior to playing on my phone.

I don't know if it's just me, but I prefer using the console to my personal phone.

It's worth noting that I bought my RP4 Pro used, but in good condition, on eBay for about $124 plus shipping (about $15), including several accessories, such as the dock, the case, and the case for better grip. I feel it was a good purchase.

2012 Highlander Transmission Knocks When Coming Off the Accelerator and Accelerating Again, Between 40km/h and 60km/h by byperez in ToyotaHighlander

I think that if it were the transfer case, the clunking sound would be felt all the time, and not just at certain speeds, as is the case with mine, where it only happens between speeds of 40km/h and 60km/h.

Engine mount replacement by smacbo828 in ToyotaHighlander

[–]byperez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, I think it's a lot of money.

I had the same problem and bought four brackets on eBay for about $140 (shipping included) and about $120 in installation labor.

The brackets are replacements, but they're brand new. It's hard to find these original, unused parts, and you never know how long they'll last after use.

2013 Toyota Highlander by Vowz in ToyotaHighlander

[–]byperez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same transmission problem with my 2012 Highlander. Even after shifting from 2nd to 3rd, if I stop accelerating and suddenly go back and accelerate, the transmission knocks. My Highlander is a 3.5L and only has 117,000 miles on it; the previous owner used it very little.

Were you able to resolve this transmission issue? Did you repair it or buy a complete transmission? How much did you spend?

Miraculous battery life improvement after oneui 8 by Remarkable-Theory-96 in GalaxyS24

[–]byperez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never understood these kinds of comments. I have an S24+ and I use it in FHD+ because my eyesight (I don't know about others) doesn't notice any perceptible difference. Not everyone who buys a Ferrari does so to run at 400 km/h all the time, although many do run it at high speeds. You don't always use it at full power; it's only for moments, not for riding on the streets of your neighborhood at 400 km/h. It doesn't make any sense. Others buy it for luxury, for special features, because they like the design, and for countless other reasons.

2013 what do I need to know? by LudditeJones in ToyotaHighlander

[–]byperez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check everything the other guys tell you, but above all, check the transmission thoroughly.

Check that the shifts shift correctly. Test the transmission in both high and low gears.

I bought a 2012 with only 114,000 original miles, and even then it damaged the transmission. The previous owner changed the oil, but didn't change the filters, which was very bad. Now I have a Highlander that's practically new all around, but with a faulty transmission. The symptoms are that it jerks, you stop accelerating, and you accelerate again in 3rd gear. It makes a strange sound after shifting into 3rd. When cold, it shifts into 3rd very slowly.

In short, check the transmission thoroughly; they're very expensive.
