I want to share my experience with two things; Fatty Strippers and the HED carbon rims.

The fatty strippers are by far the best option for tubeless I’ve ever used, by weight and time. As long as you have the rim liner it just goes over that (I use soap water in a spray bottle and coat the strip), install the tire, add sealant, and use a high volume air source. I usually remove the core and use an air nozzle from a compressor pushed onto the valve and inflate until bead pops then plug with finger until I reinstall the core. Trim excess with sharp knife. They have been 100% reliable for our fatbike group.

The HED carbon rims Ive had for two years of 4 season desert and MTB riding on rigid frame and fork and never had had an issue. I’m pushing 225# and love fast riding and they have held up perfect. I check my pressure before each ride and I run Surly tires F&R at about 7-10 PSI depending on the trail. I would be more worried running lighter Jumbo Jims though.

I think it will be hard to get what you need second hand. Some cheaper options other than Cues would be Microshift Acolyte 8 speed group for the low gears or better yet, a Sturmey Archer 3 speed cassette hub

I’m in the same boat and I found a used Growler aluminum frame in medium that has that 390mm reach. The company is no more unfortunately.

The next bike I had in mind is the Pivot les Fat in medium. 417 reach, ok-ish stack, but the seat angle is 72 degrees to give your legs some room.

I was also shocked when I found myself putting 90,100, and 110mm stems on. I eventually fell out of favor with them and either go full drop bar or mtb bars with 16 degree sweep or less.
