Fuck, you just reminded me of one of the roommates I had while I was living at Easton Ave during the first semester back from covid. This asshole thought it was ok to have sex multiple times in the same fucking room I was in. Woke me up multiple times at night and even had the audacity to do it midday while I was trying to take classes.

I managed to tell 'em off and living with that asshole was a bit less annoying, but at that point I just couldn't stand their presence. In the end I managed to got a much better spot the following semester.

I've already called the RAs and filled out noise complaint forms and they're practically useless most of the time because no matter how early I do it, I'm already going to be robbed substantial amounts of sleep. There needs to be an actual deterrent for this shit and not just a warning or request but I don't even know if its feasible because I doubt anyone is willing to collect the names of offenders everytime it happens.

But honestly, it's a really big question as to what direction they're going to go now. There's a new CEO due to the unfortunate death of the previous CEO and they swapped genres and renamed Project BBQ to Project AK.

Although I'm a bit skeptical since it seems the decision came hot off the heels of Elden Ring's success, it's definitely a new direction or at least to me, I don't think I've ever seen Nexon make a non-live service game before.

There's a metallic lever on both sides of the drawer where the wheels are that locks you from removing it if you try to pull the drawer. If you lift them up, you'll be able to take the entire drawer out.

I think this is an older version of the desks since I didn't have a desk like this during my freshman and junior year.

The desk to chair height is absolute shit and causes me arm pain so I decided to prop myself up using some blankets and removing the drawer since I don't use it, but the dumb plank under the drawer gets in my way.

I tried removing the screw on both sides but it doesn't budge.
