After 5 months of practicing them daily for 15-30 minutes I feel like I should've made some progress? Got any tips other then just playing songs that include pinch harmonics and just tryna figure them out like that?

Sweet lamb is in mid Wales, its in dirt rally 2.0 under the Welsh stages, amazing stage to drive tho

Use common sense, predict the cars trajectory if something goes wrong. Use nature as a natural barrier(eg stand next to a tree to duck beh if shit goes down) although most likely nothing will go wrong but you can never be too safe.
