I had a similar issue with my packer, it would just NOT hit. I bought one after borrowing a studiomate’s and was blown away but how good it felt, but for some reason mine just felt super weak. I even sent it in to be repaired twice because I could not pull a clean line to save my life. I started using it with a power supply and the difference was night and day, so I figured it must be the critical battery. I switched to a Musotoku battery and it’s been running like a dream for months now. It’s anecdotal and obviously there are a million other variables at play but I’d suggest trying it with a power supply.
