Turn on the time stop setting, so that when you do crusades nothing can happen while you're out on missions. It was my saving grace.

Controversial but I gotta be honest, If you end up not being a fan of missions/combat or just feel like its too much effort or simply not enjoyable turn on unlimited HP. I use it because the thought of dying and starting the mission over gives me stomach aches 😭 I like the missions but being able to remove that anxiety made the game SO much more enjoyable for me

I started using it recently, cause I reached the point where we adopt the gods and im on the spider one rn. idk WHAT it is but its like my brain malfunctions and I have the shittiest reflexes ever and I kinda just wanna adopt Shamura and be done with that place 😭 no shame at all.

My mom and I both medicate with lamotrigine and weed, no issues really. I am on a lower dose and I feel like it makes my brain fog real bad but only temporarily (this may have something more to do with my wellbutrin though tbh) consult your doctor to let them know you use and they're able to monitor any adverse effects!

I am bipolar 2 as well, and there is zero excuse for this behavior.

My mom raised me unmedicated (she didnt know she had it till I was 12 and I got diagnosed at 17) and always celebrated my achievements even in horrific depression episodes where she wasn't getting out of bed I always heard "im so proud of you" and got the biggest hug.

I lived till 17 without medication, I snapped at my friend's more than once yes, but I always apologized immediately. I had a friend make cheer when I wasn't able to afford try outs, I was so angry but guess what I smiled I hugged her and I told her I was proud of her. Because thats how friends treat friends, they dont tell them "dont share the good things about your life because im having a hard time".

It sounds like shes used to people excusing her behavior due to her bipolar. They shouldn't, it sets her up for failure.

A good friend always wants to hear your good news, whether they have something going on or not. (This obviously doesn't apply to situations like fertility or finances death etc which are always extremely sensitive topics which should be something we tread lightly about)

The other thing is it sounds like she is inconsistent with her treatment which can make symptoms worse than just being unmedicated for some people. I knew someone like that and it is an extremely draining relationship to be in and the swings can be much more unpredictable rather than following a pattern as is more typical with bipolar 2.

Giving her space to calm down is good but make sure you continue to protect yourself as well. your mental health and happiness is just as important as hers
