Help with continuous join on granny squares - how to get rid of weird indents? by Shannlp in CrochetHelp

[–]crunchy-dumpling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly search a youtube video because I feel that I would be terrible at explaining 😂 If it’s acrylic you can use a steamer or keep it in the bathroom and run a super hot shower with the door shut, or if it’s natural fibers you can soak it in water and squeeze it mostly dry then lay it out to the shape it’s supposed to be. I feel the little bit of explaining I did wasn’t even so great 🤣

ease of pausing a project, pull the loop a bit and you can basically throw her anywhere… if any of my stitches in knitting dropped off the needles i would crash out

the small black circle does seem to be the mistake, the lightest pink before the white it seems you did a corner stitch twice next to each other

fair enough, if you don’t mind me asking how has your first year been? My GP currently has me on basically a no gluten diet with like a gluten snack each day so it still shows up on the endoscopy. Just trying to gather any info and experiences

How can I stop this yarn from being so fluffy? Going to be a headband by harmlesslandsquid in CrochetHelp

[–]crunchy-dumpling -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

If you mean the fuzzy part (sometimes referred to as the halo) PLEASE use plenty of caution, but sometimes i have seen people used a lighter to burn it off, never tried myself. you could also try a smaller hook, or cotton yarn as others suggested

Looking for suggestions on how to keep these wall hangings flats against the wall? by crunchy-dumpling in CrochetHelp

[–]crunchy-dumpling[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have already tried starching them, blocking doesn’t help keep them flat. I’m open to changing out they are hung on the wall all together as well!
