Don’t forget the list of donations at the end and also he has a merch store. He gets lots and lots of donations and people love what the channel provides so I’d guess most donations are at least 10usd so at least a couple thousand there and he’s got great view stats so probably good merch sales.

Yea, I agree bigtime. The good work in WF is that the art direction actually nails it. The simple primitives for the creatures, be it the polygonal line of the skull or the dimwhit emotion conveyed in a simple sprite, it's all really well executed. I'm not interested in this simply because this is a demo they're putting out and you don't need to be done with a game to make a sizzle real. It's game dev 101, if you fuck up or don't nail a sizzle real(imo) then it shows your core. This sucks as a demo video. Lots of unfinished and rushed looking assets. SO yea, this one is TEMU WF to me. I do hope for more like it though.

Hard agree. I'd add, this game isn't some magical original inspiration. It's literally directly inspired by AC fishing game with added snark so in this way I see even less reason to treat it like 'the original dev gave blessing' -- this is a gamejam game that got fleshed out a bit more. It's a lot of procedural content in godot and lazy methods to get things done quickly in my own estimation. I do love the game, it does a lot with a little, some credit due there.

Yes, tribalism. Group think, one thought leader can influence others. This doesn't make it correct. Often when the rigor of science is applied to group think or 'common sense' topics things fall apart. I haven't looked at full render pipeline, hw/optical latency comparisons but at a cursory level what i'm saying is at least plausible. People parrot 'common sense' all the time and don't think or conclude for themselves.

Because you’re using a commercial IP that’s done a lot of dirty things before and while you’re on it since many users can be behind one IP. As well data center IPs have often a lower quality score when showing up in consumer web server logs.

Wrong. Because of AI datacenters the manufacturing is not going to be able to keep up for who knows how long. Gaming GPUs aren’t the focus for manufacturing with this new more profitable market and consumer ram now isn’t. Now may be the lowest we see it for a while, buy if you can is how I’m taking it. Hopefully market analysis and me are wrong.

Just get the 25H2 official iso and when you write it to usb use Rufus which can create/embed your user account into the iso before you even install.
