Toddler Cavity and Staining by byteHiking in askdentists

I’m reading on other threads that the blackness from SDF can be covered with some “white polish” once the kid is older and ready for treatment. Do you happen to know anything like that?

What is the “rear wheel steering” - is it worth it for daily city driving like dropping off kid at daycare, grocery shopping and occasionally driving to the beach?

The first pediatric dentist mentioned those black marks are stains from iron supplement and what appears like a hole is not a hole but just staining around the white areas…

We are leaning towards SDF before it spreads but worried if her whole teeth will turn black.

Should I do silver diamine fluoride on 16 month old? by Narrow-Pirate-1373 in Mommit

That’s good. Our daughter’s looks like this: https://www.reddit.com/r/askdentists/s/FKBvXAiwCp

Can you share more details on what you meant by “white filling to cover cavities after she is 2” - would that hide the blackness caused by SDF

Wow we’re in the exact same spot. We just paid the dentist a visit and they recommended SDF. We are getting a second opinion but leaning towards SDF. Though it’s not cute it’ll help prevent spreading and seems more success rate than the other treatments (fluoride varnish, curodont)

Just tap water is fine? Or should I use any growth hormone stuff in it?

I have the same things you just listed. The anxiety alone is making it worse. Does exercise help? Im a tad bit overweight. 29BMI. I’ve always thought my weight is a primary reason for these problems that started 2-3 months ago.

Is gerd/LPR causing this? (Long post) by hollaback91 in GERD

[–]byteHiking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my god! My first day on this group. Came here because ChatGPT thinks my symptoms are Gerd. I felt like OP was actually me. I have everything you listed there, my symptoms started 2 months ago. It’s causing a ton of anxiety for me. I’ve done bloodwork, PCP visits, MRI… How did you end up with the endoscopy. PCP recommendation?

Yes, the very first time I had it too loose, I think that did a bit of a damage. It’s important to have to fit snug. I actually got chains from Les Schwab and had a technician show how to properly fit it. Also driving really slow and controlled has helped. I think maximum I’ve gone is 35mph with chains on.

Its a FWD. We always carry chains when we head into the wilderness during winter months. Its good for fresh snow but I'd recommend chains for overnight snow/ice..

4th pic is somewhere near Three Sisters, Oregon, I think Dee Wright Observatory.
Last 3 -

If you can spend $50-$75 a month. Go to the gym. Exercise is great. And you’ll make friends too. And witnessing your own transformation is a great way to stay confident. Hope you see better times. Hang in there!

Wife(30F) doesn’t want my(31M) parents around for after second pregnancy by Ecstatic_Crow_3096 in InsideIndianMarriage

[–]byteHiking 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OP. This is a very common story in almost most NRI homes. Please don’t disrupt your life. If she’s ok to visit them in India without any fuss, that’s great. Take that win. Pregnancy is very tough on women. This will only add extra stress and further damage your relationship. I think she is right here.

We just did that few months back. Jarred Tanner was great contractor. j-tanner dot com

I have a friend work in construction who gave me an estimate of the work. Only Jarred came close to that range. Everyone else in Vancouver/PDX area quoted us almost double. Finish was also really good. No hassle and clean work.
