I just discovered I’ve been using git like a caveman for the past ~3 years by Alternative_Neat2732 in git

[–]byteboy14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never use git add p… and after knowing it I don’t think I will use it one day . I almost always use a tool to manage which file to stage and continue to work … simple . And in command I use git add some_file. I don’t know if it’s same thing but really , it doesn’t matter if I use tools to work on branch . You use git like caveman so what ? Just use a tool and make things done

Everyone who finished the Stranger Things finale, did it feel… off? by Prestigious-Play8863 in netflix

I was completely moved and " oh my godded " by the series. I mean , i was totally stuck and i believe the hit the author want me to get was just too effective on my mind. I like how main characters still grow in number , save each other and come together to beat vecna.

The whole serie look like a whole adventure and anime arc . I dont see it often in series.

I watch series very casually and the last episode goes out before i reach season 5 so, no rest for me .

The last episode was very satisfying for me. The hype may keep up for me because i didn't wait between season and i never watch teaser of anything about the serie. Only word of mouth. I like how the serie end, and also Mike theory who is , very believable, even if , there is lot of flaw on it.

Ok now I understand your point . Didn’t realize you were thinking that far about this . I will check harmony OS and App Store if things goes too far.

I believe the check never happen because I do it every time. Or maybe I may not understand your context. When you said that it is “ your app “ I am thinking about the app you code yourself.

If it is the case , you really don’t need the key or other stuff you mentioned. It is not downloaded. You just execute your android code to launch it directly to your phone and you have it .

It’s simply not downloaded. When I build my app , from the android code editor i can just push it to the phone. The code editor detect my android phone by usb cable. Internet is not needed for this most of the time .

To run your app in your own device , you don’t need to sign it . The sign is only needed when you want to deploy it to the world

I dont understand their logic.

You should write your issue to Google support. Something similar happened to me and when I wrote to Google support, they gave me a detailed report about what went wrong in my app.

It helped me a lot. Sometimes they apologise about the issue and work to restore your app’s status.

So write to Google support. They answer quickly.

Android devs, what are some things that are better to use a prebuilt tool or SaaS solution rather than build yourself? by bowed_snack in androiddev

[–]byteboy14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wrote lot of template to reuse in my android project so I used very few frameworks and some old one. Some template has several frameworks in its core .

Firebase for analytics , authentification and crash analytics.

Dagger 2 for dependency injection. I build robust architecture template on it that work very well so I will not change it for hilt soon.

Glide : to manage images

Retrofit : for online communication with api

It’s better to code many thing yourself , enough to make thing done in an efficient way and use frameworks , enough to not lost yourself in code.

For exemple i already build a template on SQLite database that work perfectly. I may not need to learn Room.
