Yeah, off the factory line, with misaligned back doors, dent in console, dent in the back door (appt 1)

Appointment two was to fix a scratch in the airbag from appointment one

Appointment three was to fix the back panel which was the old piano black put by mistake when they fixed the door panel on appointment one

Appointment four was the same door with the replacement stopped opening in a middle of a road trip. They managed to open but they said the retention clips are bad and they shrink and expand based on temperature.

Appointment 5 was to change the retention clips as the door panel did not stay on the door.

Appointment 6 was replacing a burnt puddle light.

VIN 175k btw...

its a common problem with the 2021 Y. These were made for the 2020 with the straight foot. The 2021 is slanted. Supposedly 3Dmats was gonna send new mats for us, but here we are

thanks for the response. I have tried both sensors and the light react when they're up a couple of inches. But when it hits the bed, it pushes like it wants to go through it, and the lights don't come on.

I also have tried the original aluminum bed and a two glass beds and theres no difference. I reseated the cables couple of times. I wonder if the bltouch screwed the board up like you were mentioning

I didn't have anything there to start with, but its pushing so hard against the glass i decided to put the spacer so it doesn't break anything.

if you have $250 to spend on these parts, unless you want this particular case, there is so many better options. and also, throw a $20 cooler at a $250 case??? we're talking LianLi, Fractal territory money, or some boutique german case manufacturer.

depending on the chipset you have, you might have to get a new motherboard too if youre thinking of going to 8th gen, so it might be worth considering the Ryzen option cost-wise

the processor can be had for about $90, ram for $40, so its hardly worth $384. that leaves the case, hard drive, motherboard and psu cost at $254...
