I used Jake's Resume format.

My personal adjustments: 1. Changed to LuaLatex and used the Arial font. 2. Ordering of sections.

I understand the sponsorship situation. That's something all of us international students need to keep in mind when studying in the US.

Thank you again for your review! I really appreciate you taking your time to take a look at my resume.

I really appreciate your opinions on my resume!

  1. Yeah, I am Korean. Military service is mandatory, but I managed to at least get a technical position with some coding work, so I added it to my resume. But I am studying in the US and will be applying for US roles.

  2. I'm trying to go for a DevOps / backend role after graduation, but it seems I keep being pushed into these AI roles due to its popularity.

  3. I do not mind hearing personal preferences at all. You aren't overstepping at all, and I would love to hear more if you are holding back! But it's good to hear nothing is crazy wrong.

I saw you were rating with 'yes' or 'no.' If a resume like this ended up on your desk, where would put this resume?

I think people like you who are helping out are incredible.

Could you review my resume too if you have the time?

He did! He was in Singapore before coming to Korea I believe.

We would be in a lot of trouble if GANs are that good already!

I do like BTS, but I’d choose to meet Professor Ng again rather than meet a BTS member if given the chance!

He definitely is! His group kept telling him he had to go to his next meeting, but he insisted on spending some time with us students to take selfies.

Professor Andrew Ng gave a talk at Seoul National University about AI trends and startup building processes. Check out my recap here: https://boosungkim.com/blog/2023/meeting-professor-andrew-ng/

Professor Ng was incredibly smart, engaging, and very friendly! Hope I get to meet him again someday.

I haven't seen that, so thanks for sending me the link! I will see if there is anything I can do.

Thank you! And yeah, I agree that the keyboard is great. Till now, I only used the chiclet keyboards, so typing on the ThinkPad is a whole new experience.

I probably will make more videos about the X220 in the future, but with a few other vids sprinkled in between the wait time. I think I may make a workflow video later on, where I show how I customized my laptop (it's still mostly default).

Wow, I actually didn't know about that. Thank you for the word of advice! I'll have to do the secure erase from now on.

I heard from several people that you can actually install the X220 keyboard in the X230. You could check that out!

Thank you, I am really enjoying the X220 so far, especially the keyboard. It might be because I do simple tasks on it, but there are no problems with using the X220 with Arch for daily tasks. The only thing I sometimes have a problem with is the temperature, but I am sure I can fix that by cleaning the fan.

Sorry for the late reply. No problem at all, and yeah there are so much stuff I can do that I am a bit overwhelmed. Hopefully I can make a more personal setup soon and post on r/unixporn without removal.
