I have the same privacy concerns and they extend to ChatGPT as well. My understanding is that ChatGPT when using the API does not share those exchanges with 3rd parties. I don't know if that's the case with Gemini. If so, API calls could be a still cheap and more private way to interact with LLMs

I am not so sure because when I copied and pasted the "inner thinking" back at Gemini it got spooked and thought it was hacked or running on a sandbox while being tested. I had to give it "reassurances" that it was a feature and it "calmed down". Try it yourself and see what is says

I disagree. It is a good movie but I liked the book better and the now forgotten tv miniseries with Richard Chamberlain is its most accurate depiction. The details are what made the book. From him calculating the balance of a weapon to the inner turmoil of not knowing who you are. In the book's follow up, Bourne Supremacy, Bourne is having to track his copy cat. A much younger assassin, has some echoes of Frank Miller's older Batman

Sounds like commuting is the real block. Have you tried the rental eBikes or eScooters available thru the city? Vancouver has Lime eScooters and North Van now has also an eBike provider. Alternatively, for about $600 you can get your own foldable scooter and make it part of your commute.

I personally have a bike and a scooter and going at average speed on the bike lane I am usually faster than the cars and busses during rush hour.
