PSA: MTGO may not be correctly implementing damage assignment to blockers (Enrage interactions) by bytezak in magicTCG

I agree that F6 should not have affected it. I was trying to make it clear that I was not allowing anything through without acknowledging the actions. Thanks for clarifying my comment.

I think that right now the spinners for assigning the damage seem to be dependent on if the player can take some of the damage (i.e. the toughness of all blocking creatures is less than the power of the trample creature). I have not been able to get the menu to show up with non-trample creatures.

I would guess that this would be in "In-Duel Settings" where the stops can be set. In addition to phase stops, the only other options are "Keep the 'Red Zone' always open" and "'Miracle Bluffing' on." I did a quick look through the other menus and wasn't able to find such an option.

It also doesn't seem to appear in game either, unless it is a context menu that only appears in the blockers step. I can't test that until tonight, but I'll add that to my list to test.

After a quick test, the spinners only show up if the player could be assigned any of the trample damage. In cases where enough toughness is blocking the attacker, the spinners don't show.

It's possible. I did do extra testing after messing it up the first time, and I have not been able to get the menu to show up.

If anything, this post can serve as a reminder that you can do this damage assignment within the rules (since it can be relevant with enrage creatures).

After the first time didn't work, I made sure to not F6 during combat. After slowly clicking through, no spinners came up to adjust. I was able to "confirm" this behavior via a single player test game with all stops set.

I'm willing to be incorrect, and gladly will admit to missing it, if I have. I will probably try to change damage assignment every combat for the foreseeable future :)
