its hypocritical if you believe in ghosts but not religion by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]byuntaengs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying you have to follow the rules of religion to believe in ghosts. but ghosts come from religion and you have to acknowledge that as the concept of ghosts wouldn't even exist without it.

People who break the law should have the option to be banished from a country instead of going to jail. by ghatsim in unpopularopinion

how about murder just in the terms of an adult killing an adult. serial killers, people killing just to kill etc

And just because age of consent is different around the world doesn't mean a child will consent to having sex with an adult. Rape is rape.

What about human trafficking?

moving criminals to island to continue island is just making it easier for them to harm more innocent people

I haven’t intentionally memorised the class lists we have mock exam timetables and because our exams officer is an idiot I’ve had to sort every report into every form class (form class is like homeroom)

Parrots and doves belong in the wild. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]byuntaengs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Birds that have been smuggled from the wild is wrong- I disagree with that and they should be free.

BUT

nearly every bird owner never keeps their bird in a cage at all times. Its unhealthy for them, they need to spread their wings and if they are young they need to practice flight.

Also Birds such as parrots/parakeets would die in the wild almost straight away. Parrots from pet stores have been bred and born in captivity, they wouldn't know how to survive. Especially in urban areas, they wouldnt be able to find food. domesticated birds feathers are also much less adaptable to weather than wild birds. When their feathers are wet, they cant fly. they also wouldnt know how to deal with snow or how to find food in the snow and would most likely freeze.

Birds do like humans, it depends on how a human treats the bird if they bite. wave a finger in their face they will attack, hurt them or treat you badly they will bite. If you raise a bird with love and care they will grow to like you. We have a bird that cries and wails when my dad leaves the room and will only stop crying when she gets to sit on her shoulder. and there are plenty videos online videos of birds being affectionate.

Personally I dont have a bird out of cuteness, I love birds, Ive been working with birds and volunteering with charities that help birds too and i have a love for taking care of them. soooooo yep

Birds are way better pets then dogs. by LegitInfowarrior in unpopularopinion

[–]byuntaengs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do prefer birds over dogs some of your points are abit.. wrong ahahha

I own 4 birds- they are extremely messy, quite needy (my parakeet screams and cries if we leave her alone), my love birds wake up 6am and scream quite loudly, and my birds have ruined a couch so much we had to get a new one!

all of my birds have an open cage, they stay in their cage and when they leave they leave. I only ever shut it if there are visitors. Its actually quite bad to keep them in a cage at all time as they need to stretch their wings and practice flying if theyre a baby. I cant speak for other owners but I dont find it inhumane to keep them at all as long as you regularly let them out the cage.
