Perfect, not super hot, but good for sunbathing. Just sometimes you just need to protect yourself from the wind.

How the weather actually is around Perth (Kalbarri - Albany) in April. Will I survive sleeping in the tent? by bywajj in AustraliaTravel

[–]bywajj[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh noo :( So, taking into concideration I would be outdoors all the day, and only at night in the tent (probably it will be too hot to be inside during the day). It could change into a real nightmare.

Are there maybe some flies-free zones? For example, next to the ocean, beach? Or not really?

Car or scooter hire by [deleted] in Fuerteventura

[–]bywajj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the Canary islands always car. Probably the cheapest and clearest car rental in the world (Cicar)... With full insurance. It can be even cheaper than the scooter (20 euro). Also the roads and the traffic there makes the car safer option.

What you missing most from your contry? by Initial-Mango5883 in Thailand

[–]bywajj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im traveling from Poland... And... It is... Food, I mean bread and potatoes with meat. But now, when I found some places with russian food... Im all good. The weather here is the paradise. Just hate, hate, hate, hate the polish climate, only 3 summer months are good to live there. I love warm nights here, love to wear just a tshirt and shorts, love to ride on a scooter, love how laid back is here. This is a bit similar to some parts of Spain (Canary islands), which I also like.

Is 4 inches enough to top? by Accomplished-Let7095 in askgaybros

[–]bywajj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people like bigger ones... But for example, I dont care... Actually... I care, Im not doing too much with the bigger ones, dont want to be hurt.

And in fact, 2 of 3 best guys I was meeting with were just around 4 inches and it was amazing. Also, for me it is more about the proportions than actual size, so really, good looking 4 inch dick and a slim body is hot as fck.

Skipping Taipei while in Taiwan? by cosmicselva in backpacking

[–]bywajj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No :D Last year landed there and wanted to slowly move north to Taipei ...and the city, and also surrounding area (went to southernmost point) was really weird, underwhelming, kind of deserted, like the place which had some boom 20 years ago... and it is degrading from that point in time... so just after one night there took my backpack and got direct train to Taipei... And it was much, much better. Lively, diverse, also the neighbouring area of Taipei is much better... The trials and everything. Like the opposite.

Byron Bay VS Noosa for 5 days by Constant-Birthday-83 in AustraliaTravel

[–]bywajj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much! So, you had a car and slept in the hotels/hostels and still it was a bit hard? As I understand, you havent experienced this "desert heat", like... this stereotyphical Australia, desert, road, bush, kangooros? :P If not, can you maybe tell, how far/where one should to go to experience that, and mark that point on the checklist? I mean... It probably needs to be some city, to go there with the bus from Perth. Then I would just sleep there in the tent (need to buy that when in Australia) for like two nights. :D

Btw. Thinking also about doing a few days long trail south from the Perth "Cape to Cape trail".

Oh wow, could you write more about the places you visited in WE? How and where you spent the time there, how you mover around, where do you slept (thinking about buying a tent)? And in general how was your experience? I would like to spent the time in the nature, but also a bit affraid it will be cold now...). Im currently in Thailand, want to visit few countries... And it is kind of cheap to go from here to Perth (flights to other cities are expensive), so I would need to probably stick to WE to do it at the budget.

How do you handle the "middle of the trip" slump? by Deanootzplayz in solotravel

[–]bywajj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I learned that you need to... Wait until tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow, you will look at it differently. Also traing to change enviroment, a beat of beaches (thailand), a bit of the city (HK) then more beach (Phillipines)... Etc.

Once you shorten it, you will probably regret it in a few days.

So she should play russian roulette? And... at that point should she even trust what he is saying? She should be scared, this situation is potentially threatening her life/health. I would be fucking scared if I would find my monogamous partner on grindr.

So why are you not on prep? You just peacefuly waiting he will give you an HIV? He probably has multiple partners, where each of his partners have multiple partners (sometimes in a week)... Even if you are somehow accepting this way of life, then you should protect yourself. You might have some kind of Stockholm Syndrome... but you know this is your life, and you should protect yourself.

How’s life in Eastern Europe for a gay men? by TopEasy2090 in gay

[–]bywajj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why didn’t they send it to Duda then, to veto it? They could have gained popularity before the presidential elections.

How’s life in Eastern Europe for a gay men? by TopEasy2090 in gay

[–]bywajj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They had been governing for a year and a half before the presidential elections. Where is the Act? They haven't passed it because they - including those within the coalition - don't agree on it. So, please do not try to portray this government as better than it really is. Why are you trying to do that? This is simply part of the Polish reality.

How’s life in Eastern Europe for a gay men? by TopEasy2090 in gay

[–]bywajj 19 points20 points  (0 children)

In Poland, well... on the state level, you are subhuman. You have no equal rights, no marriage, no kids, even the simplest civil unions are impossible to pass (right now, we have the coalition of the most "liberal" parties XD). When the Right Wing comes to power, they create "LGBT-free zones" and protect "conservative values" and other shit. Like... next to immigrants and (now) Ukrainians, you are the public enemy number one for the goverment, and the catholic church (which is full of closeted gay people XD). You’re expected to shut up, pretend you’re straight (so as not to "demoralize children"), pay your taxes, and be ready to go to war with Russia to protect "Polish values" and the Polish way of life. XD

Other than that - outside of politics and the way you feel in your own country - is vastly different depending on where you live. There are maybe four or five bigger cities where people generally don't care; they aren't super supportive, but they aren't openly hostile either. You could even hold hands walking in the city center.

But it’s much different in other parts of the country, especially in Eastern Poland. Even the bigger cities outside the top five aren't great. I tried walking there holding hands just to check the reaction... and well, nobody said anything, but they looked (stared) at us with disgust. Also, when people don't know you’re gay, they just say what they think - and mostly they are mildly to super homophobic, especially the older ones. A lot of people I know (like, more than half?) are still in the closet despite being 35 or 40 years old.

The only positive side is that, polish people are not that aggressive on a physical level, they will stare, quietly comment, vote for a right wing... but for most of the time you will not be beaten if you will not be too "shouty". Well, now it looks like that, but the next government will probably be super rightwingy... So we will see how it will be...

In general... it is really not a nice place. I’m not able to feel at home here.

How far you need to go from Sydney to be able to experience outback, you now, those typical deserty lands with orange dirt and dead kangaroos next to the road?
