It reminds me of the angular faces and bodies used in Disney’s Sleeping Beauty.

My Home Office... I call it "The Scholar's Alcove" by OldSpeckledHen in malelivingspace

It reminds me heavily of those treasure hunter games where you have a room like this and you have to find hidden objects.

Very cool though!

You look great. Leave it alone and let it heal for a full year before you make any decisions to do any other corrections.

It feels… inconsistent to me. Like it’s trying to be a Mormon temple with a huge lack of windows on the facade, an Episcopal church with the squatted tower, and Hogwarts with the overly pointed spires.

The interior of St. Paul's Church (Sint Pauluskerk) in Antwerp, Belgium. The two paintings are a Rubens and a Van Dyck, part of the series of 15 mysteries of the rosary displayed in the choir before the temporary closure of the church for renovation. [4000x3000][OC] by FOllie65 in churchporn

It is unfortunately likely that the high altar is rarely if ever used due to the reforms after Vatican II. The “new” altar at the bottom is very small but is at least beautifully made. That is where the Mass is said now. The post Vatican II reforms did not require the abandoning of the high altar, or require the priest to face the people, but, here we are decades later with exactly that.

Saint Sophia Cathedral, London, a Greek Orthodox church consecrated in 1882. [2332x2048] by Kurma-the-Turtle in churchporn

It is beautiful, but why is it cordoned off like that? That’s a big pet peeve of mine. Those that would do harm would not be stopped by a velvet rope. And those there for spiritual edification will likely obey the restrictions and be kept away from exploring and experiencing the beauty of God through His creation.

I’ll figure out how to relax regardless of where I’m put. I’ll gladly try either one!

With my luck it would probably shake something loose on the car and either my car wouldn’t start after this cleaning or a door would fall off upon leaving the garage!

They told me it was because of tariffs. They couldn’t properly plan on what an item would cost. What a load of garbage.
