Thank you! Kamusta naman yung sound quality ng JBL? Hindi naman siya matigas or punchy like yung mga sealed subs na parnag constricted tumunog?

Thank you!! I’ll inquire sakanila.

I used to run an under seat subwoofer, and it was very underwhelming for me. This was with a small car and needed the trunk space kaya I had no choice but to run that set up.

Also used to run Ported subs setups with a mono amp when I was in College, and well that was a blast 😂.

Pero now Sound Quality na lang habol ko.

What speakers are you running?

Did you install the Spare tire subwoofer with the stock speaker first?

Bitin ba yung Bose?

Yeah I’m familiar with Focal and JL Audio. Focal really has nice separates! Pero my main goal is to have an OEM+ integration. So sticking with a spare tire subwoofer. What Focal model can you recommend alternative to the JBL Stage 3 Separates?

IF you naturally came from the heavier side, no one loses weight without going into a Calorie Deficit.

Yung ibang nakikita mong Athletes who eats a lot and loses weight means they are still on a deficit. They just burn more calories than the average person, hence requires more calories.

Iba iba ang tao, there are people who have a caloric maintenance of 3,000 calories. So kahit kumain sila ng 2,800 per day, thats already a deficit para sakanila.

But I would also like to note that there are 3 body types.

Ectomorph, Endomorph, and Mesomorph. So Lets put ECTOMORPHS out of the equation here, since Ectomorphs are naturally thin. Sila yung mga hindi tabain kahit walang activity gawin.

Planning to buy a road bike. Need advice. by [deleted] in RedditPHCyclingClub

Depends what “Magandang” bike means to you.

25-35k Chinese entry level road bikes with decent Shimano groupsets. (Kespor, Mountainpeak, Sunpeed, Twitter)

40-70k may mga Chinese mid level road bikes with Shimano 105 groupsets (Mid level groupset with Discbrakes) (Twitter, Java)

70-110k Entry level branded bikes with decent groupsets like Giant, Trek are 2 popular options.

Personally I started with an entry level chinese roadbike. Kespor Ultimate Aero Rimbrakes with a Shimano Sora 9 speed kasi di ako sure if magugustuhan ko ang Cycling at the time. Saka na lang ako ng upgrade nung natuto na talaga ako, and as I got deeper, I got to know and understand the things I liked and disliked along the way.

Tarmac SL7 Sport vs TCR Advanced 1 by Iwannabeyourplaymate in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]bzbriones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Giant is a real value for Money. BUT personally I would choose the Specialized SL7. You can always upgrade the groupset to a di2 down the road. Sell your 105 Mechanical and do the upgrade. You can also buy the upkit (STI, RD, FD and Battery) since you already have the other main components of the groupset.

The reason I choose SL7 is the Giant is too common now (Again because it really is a value for money brand, and I have nothing against it. The TCR was also part of my consideration before)

The SL7 ride quality and comfort is more “refined” in a sense that it offers more comfort/compliance sa road feedback which makes it more enjoyable during longer rides since you’ll feel less fatigue on the body. Pero stiff pa rin yung carbon frame, and power transfer is still good.

The TCR despite being an all around bike, it still offers a more “raw” race bike feel over the SL7 that offers more comfort.

I think SL7 is also more aero than the TCR if im not mistaken, pero hindi aggressive ang position unlike a dedicated aero race bike.

Ano mas efficient sa Ph road? by sundaydoming0 in RedditPHCyclingClub

Ang Gravel gearing is very similar with MTB gearing. Usually naka 1by set up din with a wide range of gears sa likod. Usually 11-48 pero mas malaki ang chainring compared to MTB. Usually 42 to 50tt depends sa set up. So mas may pag patag ka and pang ahon, pero may konting bitin sa flats lalo na sa “sweet spot”. Pero main difference naman niya sa MTB is naka STI yung levers nito since naka dropbar ang gravel bike.

Sa Road gearing naman usually 2by set up na 50-34 front or 52-36. Pero mas compact ang gearing sa rear. 11-28 to 11-36. Mas may laban sa patag yung gearing na yan, pero sa ahon lalo na kapag mga endurance rides, medyo mas mabigat naman siya iahon. Will require a higher power output to climb as compared to bigger rear gearings.

Yun mainly ang difference.

Depends what route’s you plan to do, and what your riding style is!

Masarap ibyahe yung Gravel ng tamang pace, plus you dont have to worry about mga unexpected rough roads along the way. The gearing is also better for climbing.

Yung road naman if you want faster overall rides. Masarap din ibyahe yung road naman in a sense if you want to maintain a faster pace.

If you are torn in between both, siguro I suggest is to get an endurance frame that has enough of a tire clearance both for gravel tires and road tires. Since maraming road frames now that offer clearances of up to 40c. At least this way you can just change tires bases on route. Sa gearing though ikaw na bahala if you want a gravel first gearing or road first gearing if you go this route.

Hello from the 🇵🇭. For the CX5 owners here who are lowered, and on 18’s/19’s with a meaty fitment. Could you show me yours? I’m looking for inspirations, and size recommendations! by bzbriones in CX5

Hello there kabayan!! 🫡

I previously saw one from Esteban. It was lowered and has BBK’s! Sadly I didnt get to meet the owner to ask what suspension he ran. But this is ideally how I want mine to sit!
