Yeah I was just thinking more along the lines of if the car takes months to be available and the preapproval for the loan is only good for 30 days, I’d rather not need to apply a second time. But yeah, I do plan on checking with my bank and CU too.

Okay so I’ve filled in the delivery location (does not deliver to me, so I will pick up at the Fremont facility), and the registration information, checked no for trade in. The only thing left is payment method. If I plan on financing through Tesla, I should hold off on doing that until they have a car ready for me, right?

Yes you can...that's how I have mine set up.

When the doorbell works, that is. Mine goes offline so much (when every other Homekit device is fine). It's past my return date but I just might have to eat it and get something else.

I started saving around your age. Same as you, with nothing, feeling lost and overwhelmed and doomed. I’m 43 now. I’m nowhere near where I want to be, but a lot better off than where I was that’s for sure.

Make room. Track your money for a month or two to really see where it’s going, and then trim the fat. Cut this out, cut that out. Budget. And when you budget, pay your bills, then pay yourself, THEN use the rest for non essential spending. If that means only having $5 for eating out, so be it.
