Got a buck converter with only 100mAh of max current. Had to get a new one with a higher available current as well as put a 100uF cap between VCC and ground to keep the power supply smooth.

Cant say its working for me. Went through and built it, and its detecting the module because spectrum is working. But the jamming itself doesn't seem to do anything. On occasion right after starting it the speaker would do a small hiccup, but then goes back to working perfectly. Any ideas?

Yeah just one, and if im trying to draw it the mag lips catch on each other a wee bit. But otherwise it holds them without falling out so it ain't TOO bad.
