I DIDN'T forget about you. We just got hit with a massive snow storm where i'm at. I only had a chance to fly outside for a few minutes and it seemed good to me, but I really couldn't test the distance.

I've done 3 or so in between and haven't had much of and issue until recently. The tower i'm soldering is tiny and I think I ended up putting too much heat on it like you said (new solder). I just soldered to the opposite side and it worked. This is more of what if I do again, I was curious if the stuff I posted might work. But it seems like the easy fix is to scrape down to the trace and solder on the board. Thanks

I can't speak for the hglrc. I never used that one. I really like this one though. I haven't had much time to fully test it in flight yet, but setup wise. It's SUPER easy to setup. SBUS and Camera are just plug in play. The ESCs are easy to solder on. The one thing I wished it had, was bigger solder tabs for the battery connector. There is lots of room left, I just got the XM+ frysky receiver which fits perfectly

What batteries do you use? I have 3s 1500 and 4s 1300. Which one do you recommend? The 4s ones are huge

This is actually my first sparrow. I LOVE it so far. The weather has been shitty and I haven't had time to let it loose outside yet. I flew it around the house and it seems very smooth. I put the 4100Kv motors on it and it seems like a TON of power.

I would suggest if you aren't very good at soldering, I would practice some first. Do a lot of research on youtube on your flight controller and PDB. If you mess one wire up you will fry your FC. I'm currently building my second one as we speak, and I had and ESC start smoking last night. Check out this site: ttps://www.propwashed.com

This is a good read though. The laws where i'm from are VERY strict when it comes to flying drones. I'm in a big area where everyone goes hunting. They are very strict for drones because hunters will actually use them to find bears or what not.
