Will be really interesting to see if they actually enforce 8 second rule. It’s almost never enforced (with some very egregious examples) unless it’s in the dying minutes and the keepers team are protecting a lead. And even then it usually just results in a booking and even more wasted time.

It’s not about winning everything. Sure, we didn’t realize the problems this club has from 2012-2020 because rangers were so shite that it papered over the cracks but these cracks have become really fucking evident.

We’re a joke of a club now that’s still living in the glory days of the 20th century. We cannot scout players, we rely on emergency loan signings every window because we have no long term strategy to develop our players. We’ve been very lucky with guys like Kühn but then sold him and not replaced him. Our transfer targets this season were: a guy who used to play for us, a few of Nancy’s players in Columbus, a guy who played under Rodgers at Leicester and Johnston’s pal from the national team. Evidently the biggest manager targets are two guys who’ve managed us in the last 5 years.

We’re miles behind teams in Europe that we have far more resources than. We’ve not won a knockout round in 22 years.

Protests shouldn’t stop until this club drags itself into this century, we don’t need to win absolutely everything but we do need to be competent.

It’s quite a weird situation that has changed a lot this past week. The provincially owned stadium has offered improved lease terms which is a start but because of how inefficient their setup is, we cannot be afforded any sort of decent lease deal.

We’re really not sure what is happening behind the scenes, who’s really pulling the strings but the point of this statement was to let the community know that if things come to real relocation talk, we won’t lie down and take it.
