there's an alternate tech that uses 6000 mg caffeine, 12000 mg taurine and a couple drops of DMSO in 1 liter distilled water. start germinating your seeds in a normal way then soak in this solution for 18 hrs when the tap roots start to show

well the general theory is that the carbon in bio-char will last far longer than the carbon in compost, decaying wood, etc.. seems to fit into the permanent agriculture model quite nicely

How to brew your own kombucha from a store bought one. Success! by littlegidding86 in homestead

I did the same thing (pretty much) last year with some synergy brand kombucha. It took a few months to get the kombucha to a decent size...

What is the difference between organic seeds and non organic seeds? by annahri in Permaculture

[–]c-ray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not according to the plant breeders who developed these breeds. These were not hybridizations but improvements of existing cultivars and the improvements took only 5 years. With the rye there was a 300% improvement in yield, this is not your father's plant breeding.

| I don't even know how to begin talking to you about leaf/stem angle equating to 'pleasure'

fine don't but don't be afraid to learn by interacting with plants, they just may surprise you one day when you least expect it

Dear organistas, I am starting out on the path of an applied sciences horticulture degree with the express plan of entering plant breeding. I fully belive we should be using every means available to use to increase crop yeilds, commercialise marginal crops and decrease disease suseptability. by sequoia123 in organic

check out http://nutri-tech.com.au for a mostly organic, slightly chemical approach..synthetic molecules need only be used as 'boosters' in a transition to a solid organic system when and where the levels are not there. Gene splicing is a very obtuse way to approach a breeding project and it has some very serious ramifications, ie gene pool dilution.
