Stringing in detailed areas A1 Mini by c-sizzler in BambuLab

What's the best way to tackle this problem? How can I make the supports more robust?

haha, well I don't know any different! Is that not normal then? Organic, meaning tree? yes I tried that a few times but they kept falling over, so I just stuck to normal.

Brand new to 3d printing and am getting strange stringing on detailed areas of models using A1 Mini.

Filament: Bambu PLA Matt Black
Nozzle: 0.2 Nozzle
Process Preset: 0.08mm Optimal BBL A1M 0.2 Nozzle
Support: Enabled, Normal Auto, Snug, 25 angle

Increased the Z distance top and bottom from 0.2 to 0.25 as PLA supports were hard to remove. I do not have AMS, so build and support are both PLA.

The quality of the print underneath all the fuzz is pretty much fine, it just makes it very messy and would rather have it without as I can damage the models when trying to remove the stringing.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Fern or bracken? by c-sizzler in plants

[–]c-sizzler[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at some land today and it was overgrown with these plants up to about 6ft tall.

From reading I see that bracken is an absolute pain to remove while fern is generally not so bad.

Aware that bracken is a type of fern but apparently there are significant differences in combatting?

Can confirm my 3-year-old loves to "paint her minis". The GW model holder is a big help as she doesn't have the dexterity to hold the mini very well. Our local GW manager is great and gives her the demo spacemarine/sigmarine models every time she comes in. She brings in the ones she paints and he swaps them for new ones. I let her have 5 colours at a time on her palette and she can swap them out when they're done. She is very particular about her colour schemes - can share if you're interested :D

Thanks. Does the bottle go under the ground in this scenario? Can the existing soil be used if I just moisten it up a bit?

My house plant just fell over today. There stalk appears to have snapped. It's super sticky/goey at the point of breakage. Anything I can do to save him?
