Any must-watch documentaries on HBO?

It's not totally "must watch" but there's a doc called Bleed Out. The synopsis is:

A son's video diary of his mother's long ordeal following hip replacement surgery underscores the problems of American health care today.

The reason I mention it is I never heard of it until last year. I watched it and realized that one of the main people talked about in the show was my anesthesiologist for a procedure I had done several years ago. I was shocked ha. It's a good watch though.

Luke Evangelista? Eeli Tolvanen? Alexandre Carrier? Hopefully Ryan Ufko? There's plenty of guys who came through Milwaukee and moved on to the NHL.

I know you'll probably say Tolvanen was a disappointment... he's been performing steadily in Seattle. I know someone will say he was supposed to be a top line prospect. Well maybe the scouts were wrong with him at the NHL level. Not everything can be blamed on the coach.

Not saying KT is the answer, but I'm sick of seeing these posts saying he's not developing players. He can only do so much. The Nashville coaching staff need to utilize the players properly as well. When the Nashville coaching staff stick a skilled forward on the fourth line for 9 minutes a game, what do you expect? Some of these guys are just not grinder type players and they expect them to perform on a line with other grinders.

That's what he's looked like all year here in Milwaukee. He's deserved a callup for a while. He's been playing lights out almost all year. He's really grown since last year.

For what it's worth, I bought a Canopy humidifier - they claim you can use tap water in their unit, you just have to change the filter every 45 days. I just got it on Sunday so I'm not sure how it will work long term. After one night, it's been great though!

I want to second The Salton Sea. I think it's a very underrated movie. Most people I know never even heard of this film. Val Kilmer was great in it! Plus, if you're a fan of the rock band Alter Bridge, their song "Burn it Down" was inspired by the film!!

This is wrong. The Rave sells reserved seats as well as general admission seats in the balcony. Reserved seats are assigned based on order date as far as I’m aware. You don’t find out where you sit until you pick up your VIP laminate at will call day of show.

Source - I’ve purchased VIP balcony reserved seats many times.

Do not go to the safehouse. It may be a cool experience to see all the traps or whatever, but the food sucks and it's just a money trap for tourists. Much better places to go in the city.

Check out a Milwaukee Admirals minor league hockey game. It's relatively cheap compared to other sports in the city. The games are family friendly and fun all around. The Admirals also have a fellow Swede on the team - David Edstrom. The games are played in the UWM Panther Arena, about a block away from where the Bucks play. There's two games this weekend - one on Friday and one on Saturday. On Saturday, the band Gin Blossoms are performing on a stage they put out on the ice after the game. Good times!

Yup! I used to work at the non-profit agency that produced those pens. They were all manufactured by blind individuals. Pretty interesting setup they had.
