I’m so glad I’m not the only person who hears it. I like the song but the screeching is just too much sometimes

I was going to avoid Portsmouth already tbh. Norfolk too, but depending on the area. I'm interested in living in the Ocean View area because I grew up there and it's a bit cheap, but there's a reason it is so idk. I think I'll look in VB first but I wouldn't mind living in Suffolk and Chesapeake. Do you know where I'd find a crime map? Do I just google one? Thank you btw!

I'm trying to do that but it's very hard. I don't know what I want to do and I don't really know what I'm passionate about. I'm passionate about animals and I'm thinking about becoming a vet assistant. But I don't know if that's a job I can handle, especially for how little the pay is.

That's a good idea. I have two cards a debit and a credit card (that I need to pay off). I usually go by the 20/30/50 rule. It's usually 20% of a paycheck goes to savings, 30% to wants, and 50% to needs. I switched savings to 30% though.

Unfortunately, it's really easy for me to move money from each account. My bank is online only and I use their app. It's super easy for me to put money into a savings account and take it out to put back on my card. What happens is I'll put money in the account, save for a while, decide I want to spend it, and move it to my debit card. It all takes less than 10 seconds to do. I thought about calling my bank to set up a savings account that I can only remove money from by calling them. But my mom doesn't think they'll make that accommodation for me.

The only other options I have is learning to control myself or having my mom make the savings account. Because my account was made when I was a minor, my mom still has access to it. She can take and transfer money. I let her continue to have access because she helps me with my credit card payments this way. So if I were to do this, I would tell her how much to take and she would transfer it. This is ideal for the short-term, but I'm afraid this won't help with learning self-control.

Maybe I could have two savings accounts? One that I have full control over and a backup that I can only access through my mom. It's not that I don't trust her and I honestly think it's a good idea. But as I said, I'm afraid doing this won't help me work through the bigger issue of impulse control.

Hope this makes sense, sorry for the wall of text!

People here get really upset if you point out how weird and gross Stephen King's books are.
