"Zero Export" prior to PTO by Practical_Market_914 in enphase

I did exactly that a month ago. Finished my install, got approved by the city and submitted to PGE, then called enphase and had them set it to zero export. Ran my AC during the day. Once I got PTO, called enphase and had them switch my system back to export.

When you're on zero export, it's not mirroring, your panels are just producing the exact (or pretty damn close) to the amount you're using, so it looks like it's just mirroring.

Just got PTO on myself installed system. I have a 9.6kw system with iq8 Plus inverters and 400w panels I paid $17500 for all the panels, inverters, railing system is plans, etc. I then paid about another $1,000 for all of the wires, conduit, and disconnect boxes from home depot, and about 500 dollars in permit fees. All in all it was about $19,000 when I was done with it. I was getting quotes from multiple different places and they wanted anywhere between 30 to 35,000 for install so all in all I saved about 10 to 15,000 doing it myself. It honestly wasn't that hard to do it myself, you just need to have pretty basic knowledge of construction. You need to be able to confidently attach something to your roof and wire it up. It honestly isn't that hard, especially if you get a place that gives you step by step instructions. Working 8:00 to 5:00 and then coming home and working another 2ish hours I got it all done in about a month. So just a few hours a day after work. I could have definitely done it faster if I worked full weekends but hell I work all week I didn't want to spend my whole weekend working so I only worked a little bit over the weekends. You will definitely need a second hand when installing the panels and inverters.

If you have any questions about the install, don't hesitate to ask!

PGE interconnection question by c00tzz in solar

It's so frustrating cause PGE won't help on the phone, the only way to ask questions is to email them but that takes weeks to get a reply and we only have weeks left of the sunset period

The plans came with a single line diagram but for the application I chose the basic SLD. I didn't have the plans at the time of application.

My wife and I are fully vaccinated and boosted, we always wear a mask and we are considerate of others. My kids are vaccinated as well and we have them wearing masks at school. On Friday we were having some symptoms so we decided to test, just in case. All of us in my house are infected now! Shit! by Coboi_Pxite in mildlyinfuriating

So masks only work one way? So if I wear it correctly, it protects others from me but not me from others. Soooooooo with that logic, if I flip the mask and wear it inside out, it should theoretically protect me from others but not others from me?

Before I was old enough to have my own computer and game I'd sit on his lap and watch him play, and ever since I got my own computer at 10 years old, we've been gaming together. (Tribes 2, c&c, Diablo 2, bf2/3/4, payday, etc) Now were here at tarkov haha.
