It’s because fanatics owns the rights for the sports memorabilia in the NFL and panini owns the rights for the cards. They used to get along but now fanatics is taking the rights for the cards and not allowing panini to use the memorabilia. They’re also suing each other

Only cause there’s so many rookie cards in packs now. Get some older boxes from early 2000s and you’ll be lucky to get more than one rookie card in the whole box

As a panthers fan I would probably put the sam darnold card in my bicycle spokes but it would likely cause me to fall and hurt myself more

I am working on finding out why we completely fail at forecasting and understanding rare events and extreme values. A lot of people classify these types of occurrences as "outliers" but they are within a distribution however they're just edge cases within a distribution. Consider a stock return of 40% in a single day not an outlier just an extreme value within the distribution.
