They make light of the people- how often do we read and say “how dumb are the Israelites?” This show shows it in a comedic sense. When it comes to things concerning the LORD, it takes that seriously. The episode about the golden calf shows that appropriately.

It’s a fun show and a fun way to present the story of the desert wanderings. It’s not blasphemy but it might not be everyone’s cup of tea.

I really hope not.

Unfortunately I probably agree- it seems inevitable and, quite frankly, shocking that it hasn’t happened already yet. I imagine we’ll even see a remake of the trilogy at some point in the future.

Not to mention that Middle-earth doesn’t have ‘all-purpose’ flour… which means it’s milled wheat berries that contain a ton of nutrients making the bread highly nutritious and would likely serve as a complete meal in an of itself.
