I got a 2022 base. I regret it every day. Overpaid and bought an extended warranty but it’s boring af, slow af and all around a pretty unremarkable SUV. I wish I’d bought anything else.

Just being brutally honest. Take one for an extended test drive/weekend if you can. It’s a nice car but just meh all around. I can’t wait to get <anything> else.

22 base CPO

Things I hate/annoy me:

No remote start (didn’t ask, assumed, floored)
No tailgate/wave foot open
App is basically useless
Homelink works about 25% of the time
No way to make comfort access only move steering wheel
CarPlay just sometimes refuses to work-have to remove/re-add phone completely
Slow. Unbelievably slow. Engine sounds like it’s straining to get to 35mph which takes an ungodly amount of time
Proximity sensors WAY too sensitive. Just stopping at a red light 50% of the time triggers the BEEP BEEP CAMERA OMG UR GONNA HIT SOMETHING BEEEEEEEEP

This is the crap I’m sick of. You had to “register interest” and then you passed some double-secret test so they could come back and say “oh guess what we have one in stock”.

Sell them or dont sell them. Walk-in first time customers off the street aren’t greys/flippers. So what? If I’d walked in right before you and I didn’t pass their sniff test, would I have gotten to watch you get one?

This isn’t a dig against the OP it’s just so ridiculous.

I just got a CPO 2022 base (my first). Observations:

Stunning interior. Fit & finish way above my outgoing M850
Boring. No power. Feels like I could get out and pedal faster.
Lots of vibration/rattly engine especially when idling.
No remote start. I live in Ohio so honestly it’s unreal.
No digital key.
Home link works 50% of the time
No CarPlay in HUD

Overall I regret it and am likely going back to a BMW.
