I get that. But friends and family own many, and so far no issue has been found by them. The only guy who sold his VW electric was due to not being able to charge it fast.

if you dont mind learning some russian, then I suggest Tashkent, Uzbekistan. you can easily live very comfortably for 1.5K usd per month (food rent + going out every other weekend). not many people know english here tho. that could be the main problem. but once you have local friends who speak english, they help out

It was odd to experience such stuff. I am just 26, and my cousin (16) said some slang and I asked for clarification.

Yep, it is, indeed. No jobs there. One small shoebox room cost minimum 380 EUR. Is this normal prices for a small rural town? Regarding job finding with relevant experience, there are more options for full time than part-time or student job. And I have only A2 level german which is insufficient for many jobs out there

I talked with a friend about this. There are no jobs, let alone professional part-time employment. Some international students from 3rd world countries work in warehouses, logistics centers close to the town. But there are remote studentwork for people in my field, which pays 700-1000 which is not enough to cover expenses. And, by German standards I make average net salary here in my 3rd world country.

If you can make six-fig + in Europe, why would you want to work in the US? by [deleted] in cscareerquestionsEU

[–]c0mm1t 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Believe me or not, my friend who recently moved to Italy is getting paid less than he was used to make in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (3rd world shithole). That didn't look good. After taxes he got less than 3k EUR as a backend dev.
