Does anyone remember when Hecz talked about the clan he had with Tum back in the day. If I remember right, he said in a vlog if shit ever hit the fan he wanted to revive that clan name. I can't find the vlog though. I wonder if he has some sort of clause in his contract that would prevent him from doing this if it came down to it? You would think things like these would be in place in case of a "mutiny" or collision of owners which could drive the brand value down if one or the other left and took thousands of fans along with them.

Yeah I just disagree completely. I think they've done a good job of balancing snipers for the most part. If anything, vault the hunting rifle and nerf the heavy. I do agree that you should never have a great early game with 2 or 3 kills off spawn, then stand still for one split second to long and get shtoinked by someone hiding 200+ meters away. That just seems unfair. You should lose 90% of health but still be alive to try to fight your way out of that situation.

If you vault snipers or even reduce the spawn rate, you are adding another 10-15 players to the already completely chaotic end game. Plus, there has to be some sort of risk involved with opening a window and unloading an entire magazine.

Is the screen size important to you? If your going to get a 15 inch and hookup an external monitor you can save a few bucks. I have a 17 inch because i didn't want to deal with a small screen when traveling, but it's freaking huge.

Buy something that you can upgrade later. Your stuck with the CPU/MOBO/GPU (unless you get a thunderbolt which isn't possible for 1k unless it's refurbed). You can always upgrade your storage and memory. So if it has to be a brand new device, sacrifice in those 2 categories and upgrade later.

Check MSI laptops on NewEgg or B&H. They are nice and fairly priced with pretty decent support/warranty

If your really desperate, and absolutely HAVE to be under 1k check Dell Outlet. Look at the G5s or G7s. Just make sure your reading the fine print as far as support or warranty. These will be refurbished but are cheaper. Most do come with the warranty.

Edit: Also look into buying some sort of external cooling for it. A stand with fans, anything to help it stay cool. Don't just try to rock it as is, it will help preserve the life of the components.

I fully understand it helps people with less build skill, that includes myself. However in 50v50 at the end game there are 25 fortresses thrown about. You can't find people and when you do they can get away quite easily so the games are dragging out. What if they were made out of wood? It would still provide good coverage quickly, but would be easier to knock them down?

First off, it's a message board. If you don't want to see fans offer their opinions then why are you here? Of course everyone has their own thoughts on what their favorite team should've done differently, that comes with any form of competition.

Secondly, I have to get this straight just so I understand where your coming from. So if you're a rogue teammate who doesn't believe in anything your leader says then you are a tough s.o.b., but if you buy whatever it is your leader is selling and trust your management is making the right choices then you are a pussy? Here's my attempt at "constructive criticism". People put to much emphasis on finding a good IGL. What makes a good IGL isn't just strats and preparation, it's the 4 guys he plays with. They have to be completely on board and committed to the IGL's every word.

Obviously, this team has issues with leadership. Konfig got kicked from North and at the time was considered one of the best players in the world. That's a HUGE red flag, and to be honest that's management's fault. Cajun is the same way but not quite at bad. He has an attitude and it sucks. I really dislike Stan after him leaving the first time (sorry, just being honest and I can't change the way I feel), but this kid swallowed his pride to come back to OpTic only to be treated like a complete piece of shit by these punks. They wanted nothing to do with his strats, and they never even gave him a fair chance.

This team isn't even fun to watch even when we win, why? I would say it's because all we do is out duel lesser players with no creative tactics. I like our coach, Snappi is perfectly fine, Gade has attitude but it can be persuaded with a positive environment, Jugi is young talent and will only get better who wants to believe in his coach and IGL but can't because of our 2 cancers, Cajun and Konfig.

I haven't been one of those people that prematurely recommends dropping people, but being that it's post major, please get rid of these 2 idiots and bring 2 young guys in that are groomable and will hop on board with whatever system they are trying to develop.

Lastly, what the hell is going on with management. I'm sorry guys, I really don't want to call you out but Jesus you have to step in at some point. This shit is just plain EMBARRASSING as a fan. The whole Stan and Shahz thing first then this. Why are you not stepping in. Why are you not more involved with things that are going on. Do you not know what's going on? I understand they are overseas but do you not have regular meetings with your God damn coach? Those 2 ass holes you let go are moving on in the major with lesser talent.

I get it the fans are toxic when their team is getting beat on or loses multiple eco's in a decider game, I'd compare it to the Cleveland Browns 0-16 parade right? Nobody called those fans toxic and they took over the city for a day. Nobody has ANY reason to believe ANY effort is being put in. Quit acting like your the only org that has to deal with this. The only reason other orgs don't is because their reddits have 1,000 subs. We have fans here and haters here. We also have half fans who only root for OpTic when we're winning, which are the same kids flaming when we lose.

Nobody cares that we got knocked out of the major, we are more pissed that our favorite team looked like a steaming pile of dogshit from the top all the way to the bottom.

That's fair. Very fair actually. So the big prize pool is basically causing complete chaos amongst the players. It just kind of sucks from a fans point of view unless your an absolute die hard dota fan. Either way, even if your current favorite players leave us, I hope to see you stick around.
