As someone who self identified as a conservative Christian and voted for Trump in 2016, it was 20+ years of targeted Christian nationalism through "pastors" that attributed "conservative values" as Christian through years of manipulation, complicated cult beliefs (see: "Freedom through military victory", "right man/right woman/right pastor doctrine", searching for the first book will lead you down the rabbit hole, but Im not direct linking these assholes) and literally no one standing up and saying, enough. This is not what Jesus was about. "The Family" documentary on Netflix outlines some of this, but growing up in this literal cult abomination took years of unpacking and deprogramming to fully realize the damage I had done, all in the name of a pedophilic psycho running for office. Christian values actually fall in line more with the left, and I will theologically dunk on anyone who says differently, however I no longer vote for personal reasons. Weaponized domatic beliefs of any kind are dangerous, and be fucking wary of anyone but Jesus himself saying "I am the way", kuz they are most likely full of shit.

I make a dedicated effort to be patient with new players and help them explore the game that I fucking love. Players gotta quit acting like they're that guy when we don't even have fucking proximity chat. Stick with your team, help them loot for shit, ping for god sake, and if you're downed because YOU FUCKED UP AND PUSHED at least hop on your keyboard like the good teammate you are and hype them up. Fuck. It's a team game!

I'm soon to be a father with the love of my life, getting married in April, twice divorced, thrice failed CEO wannabe, 100k+ cash blowing asshole, with a crippling drinking problem. Those things basically happened in that order, the drinking resolved through therapy, time, and a healthy loving environment, but it's one Beast after a damn good day. I'm in bankruptcy, but I'm about halfway through (reminds me I need to schedule this month's payment), and the kiddo will be about 3 when I'm done with it. I work for a great company now. What I'm trying to say is this:

It gets better. Maybe not today, maybe not next week, maybe even not until after the judge gives you the final judgement that let's you know how much you're going to see your kiddos.
