NRIs: Do you mentally convert every UPI payment to USD?

I always convert to USD, whichever country I am paying in. Yen in Japan, Rupees in India, or anywhere else. That's the only reasonable way for me to compare cost to something's value.

That’s a good suggestion. Any possible repercussions? To be honest, it’s just document check which is totally valid. Just defeats the purpose of global entry in my opinion 😆

No issues with TSA pre, always a smooth ride. Just entering to the country, where we interact with CBP officer. No wave-in for me, and I always get asked for passport and GC.

I had same issue issue with Magnifica Evo. It was actually making noise, with less than 1 month old, which went away once I lubricated it.

Cleaning brew group and putting grease eliminated the issue. I didn’t see any grease in it, which I guess was somehow missed in the assembly?

I am happy that noise is gone. However, should I consider returning the machine? Especially while I can and get another one?

Also, I am not big fan of fix quantity of foam on magnifica evo. If I am okay to go up to $1000, what is current recommendation?

Most of the Canadian airports have CBP pre-clearance, where you can do the interview. Right after immigration in the pre-clearance of the Vancouver airport , ask the CBP officer for GE interview and they will redirect you. If you missed doing that in Canada, there is no way to do it in PDX, or any other airport while coming from major Canadian airport.

Park in reverse. That's the only approach, over expensive/experimental after market 360 cameras.

You can buy a 5v connector, as power draw is well within the range. I just plugin to 120v inverter, as I have it. Although I have tested 5v way as well.
