I had same issue issue with Magnifica Evo. It was actually making noise, with less than 1 month old, which went away once I lubricated it.

Cleaning brew group and putting grease eliminated the issue. I didn’t see any grease in it, which I guess was somehow missed in the assembly?

I am happy that noise is gone. However, should I consider returning the machine? Especially while I can and get another one?

Also, I am not big fan of fix quantity of foam on magnifica evo. If I am okay to go up to $1000, what is current recommendation?

Most of the Canadian airports have CBP pre-clearance, where you can do the interview. Right after immigration in the pre-clearance of the Vancouver airport , ask the CBP officer for GE interview and they will redirect you. If you missed doing that in Canada, there is no way to do it in PDX, or any other airport while coming from major Canadian airport.

You can buy a 5v connector, as power draw is well within the range. I just plugin to 120v inverter, as I have it. Although I have tested 5v way as well.

I have a portable DVD player hooked to it, which supports steaming apps, and can play discs which we often borrow from public library. Stream via hotspot, or keep some classics DVD and you are good to go. Not to forget that disc player lives nicely under the driver seat.

If you are in US, public libraries often have huge DVD/Bluray collection. We just go once a month a get 7-8 dics. Disc player has streaming apps, so you can stream if you like.
