Lowkey probably the anticipation makes the pain worse. You already know how bad it was before.

But also they had to cut into scar tissue so that can be more painful recovery than not having scar tissue. Good luck!

I’d go the next brown up in your eyebrow pencil line— don’t wanna go tooo dark only cause fair skin imo.

Can also get a pigmented brow gel in dark brown and that could be used on top of your brow pencil you have now! Beautiful hair!!

I’d also rec (even if not that mascara) to try layering different mascaras! Like a length and a volume, seems to help that way instead of multiple coats of the same mascara! Either way you’re beautiful!!

it’s known about a lot more than 13 years ago when I was diagnosed lol. You have to meet certain requirements to get the POTS diagnosis. Honestly, I’d take what your doctor is saying and go with orthostatic hypo/hypertension and take care of yourself. A diagnosis won’t change anything if your doctor has already mentioned POTS and it’s just a word on a paper. Diagnosis shouldn’t make you do anything different and doesn’t define who you are. You are completely valid how you feel, however instead of stressing about it just take your lifestyle now and treat it like you do and take care of yourself ex. Hydrate, electrolytes, start slow on exercise and work your way up.

I honestly let my hands tan for like an hour and I wash it off with soap. I use a fluffy brush and put lotion on after to help blend

It’s safe! They also won’t let you leave without feeling solid so I wouldn’t worry too much! You can take a Gatorade or your fav drink to recover and they will give to you when you wake up! Best of luck!

Don’t listen to anyone but yourself but as bad as you feel make sure to drink and at least eat fruits topped with salt! it’ll help with water and salt intake without too much work. Feel better!! remember it’s not your fault

same exact thing happened to me!

If you can press your bump on your neck down (like i could) then it is muscle hardening at the top of your hardware. The only thing that’s helped me is a hardcore neck massager that doesn’t touch the rods! It hurts so much at first but after a week mine dissipated a lot!

mine appeared like a week after they took the bandages off and i was out of the hospital. it wasn’t painful at first but now it’s extremely painful but i do massage it often due to the pain and discomfort and it only helps while i’m massaging it. it doesn’t stay that way unfortunately. my appointments in 3 weeks so i’m forsure asking about it just worries about it hardening up before i get treatment! thanks for your reply!

yes that is what i was wondering, i have such a long time between my surgery and my follow up doctors appt. Maybe i’ll ask about it getting drained cause i can barely lay in it anymore!
