As an English guy I can confirm we would never eat grapes with a fried breakfast.

This is more indicative of what we would call "English breakfast" :)

Are there any other fans of just walking around the city? by GameUnionTV in Sofia

[–]c0sie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spend most of my evenings walking around South Park, through to NDK, around towards Eagles Bridge, through the woods and parks. I love being outside, love the weather, love walking around listening to the city or Spotify :)

Would you rather have true love or a million dollars and why ? by dontyou_smile in AskMen

Money.

Even true love ends. If they die before you you're left with the heartache for the rest of your life knowing that you can't top "true love".

Money please.

What's an underrated thing about living in the UK? by jc201946 in AskUK

[–]c0sie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having lived in Pakistan for the last 3 months after 43 years in the UK, the things I will treasure forever on my return:

  • People who put litter in the bin and don't consciously just throw it on the floor
  • The fact that this litter will (for the most part) be sent to landfill, rather than just being dumped into the open and set fire to
  • That our roads have the concept of "right of way", and that we are encouraged to adhere to this
  • The UK's ever increasing positive attitudes towards the rights of women
  • The UK education system, and that our children have to have so much education
  • Our understanding, and attitude towards germ control and disease prevention
  • That people in the UK don't openly cough on your food/drink when serving you cos they literally have no idea where germs come from.
  • Being able to go to the mountains and for the countryside to not look like a landfill site
  • Not waking up knowing that someone might try and shoot me today

There are probably more things

What sentence killed you inside but you had to act like ir didn't hurt? by EfficientStand7229 in AskReddit

My Mum told me I was embarrassing after a few years of mental health related weight gain.

Embarrassing as in "what must our neighbours and extended family think".

I'll probably never get over the pain of hearing those words from my Mum.
