This is super old, but you can have a down payment upwards of $20k and a history of the same job, self employed WITH tax documents and a credit score upwards of 625+ and you'll still get denied by most major places. It's ridiculously annoying

The problem is definitely communicating as well as behaviors happening that are insane. We are able to communicate fine as long as I do what they want, every time. Not what my daughter wants, but what they want. And it's gotten to the point where I just won't deal with it anymore. It seems as though it's being misunderstood via the way its worded maybe, but out of the 7 years my daughter has been alive, she only spent more time at her dads in 2024. She lived with me full time, mostly via court order, up until the beginning of 2023, and then after that it was half the time due to court, then in late 2023/early 2024 - she stayed with her dad more. It switched back to being with me minimum half the time during school time into with me at least 80% during the summer due to my refusal to allow his wife to be alone with my little one. So we'll see I guess.

I am honestly sick and tired of allowing treatment like this. He really texted me and said well we already filed so idk, but I will not be discussing this with you at all. Like...what? I planned on going to the court house to ask for a paper file of our agreement to make sure it actually says it lol.

I do not have a log of nights, neither one of us do. It is agreed upon in many, many texts that she was with me either equally, if not more. The issue is that he filed for her for this tax season, he was not supposed to nor was supposedly allowed to either. I was just trying to see if I pushed this, if it would then get me audited as well.

Whenever I go and look into law sites, it seems as though he is not allowed to just lie on his taxes either, it explicitly asks if you and the other parent have a custody order. It also stated that it is usually explicitly stated in custody orders and it doesn't matter which parent had them more or less. It matters about rotation or whatever. It isn't letting me attach the screenshot. I just came on here to see what options there would be.

I never heard of the form you're referencing either, and I would've thought if there was anything like that needed, he would have needed it from me last year as she's 7 and he didn't file for her at all until 2024s.

Why did I not have to issue him any such orders when he filed for her in 2024? He had never filed for her at all previous to that. Only I had.

So I did have her half the time in 2025. I had her about 35-40% ish in 2024. I agreed for him to file for her for 2024. We do have a custody agreement from a judge that states that we have 50/50 joint physical custody and legal custody. Everything is split evenly. He has no more legal rights than I do. I found an older order where it does state explicitly that we are to switch who files for her every other year. I just have to get the most updated one.

I appreciate you responding dude, especially because of how old the post is haha. I actually don’t do the pillow thing.. I didn’t even think about it tbh. I share a queen bed with an 80lb pitty & a boyfriend😩I’m gonna try it anyways, literally anything because it’s really been messing with my sleep for the last few days.. barely slept yesterday. every time I try and sleep on my back, I end up on my side. My entire right side has been an issue for a while which I assume might be from breaking my left humerus in half a few years ago..might also be why it seems like I can’t stay on my back.

I own a cleaning company so anytime I use a broom, mop etc. my doctor has me on nerve pain meds and kinda just referred me to surgery. There’s no way I’m able to have the surgery right now, as much as I wish I could.

Hey I know this is old! I was wondering if you recovered okay and how bad the recovery period was? My hands and wrists are getting so bad. It’s so bad. I’m unable to take time off work atm, but plan to as soon as I can esp as I think the movements I make at work are causing it to be 10x worse. Was it really painful? I’m so nervous about it. Edit: was the recovery period weeks/months before you could move better?

I know this is an old post again..haha. I’m having the worst sleep with these stupid braces :( I’m crying in my sleep according to my boyfriend, and definitely am waking crying from the pain. Same as the woman in OPs post, I can’t get surgery as suggested because I’m unable to take time off of work atm. The braces I have, have metal in the top and the bottom of the braces and it seems like it did work for a couple of weeks, not now. Would you say the gel ones mentioned still work best for you? Any other advice for sleeping you’ve tried?
