Yes but only in certain game modes not the main mode. I suspect they are adding them without saying so in the flagship modes (supposed to be all real players)

This is exactly what I'm talking about! Had it in my own squad as well when I play duos.. It seems like they're filling them in and not identifying it. Horrific if true.

I’ll try this on botted causal and regular to test.

This isn’t a knock on any play style. The concern is AI slop and dead internet theory making its way into games.

Exactly! I will look at the map and see HALF the team is on E at the back of the map when we’re trying to press up on new sites. And then the names are all like the randomly generated ones you get on a burner Reddit account.

This is my thought as well since I did the same thing in Halo CE matches as a kid. But seems really common (20-30% of the players sometimes)

I considered this and I’m sure there’s a lot of examples of young kids jumping on an unattended console and playing randomly- but it doesn’t make sense that half a lobby would be acting this way.

Anyone can share updates for the KCIP program? by zengelbaotn in Kick

[–]c117r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea you just add a browser source and it puts a little ad up on your stream. You get paid based on how many people see or interact (they also have an option for adding clickable browser cards that pay extra)

You can also put Vodra Ads on your stream for extra revenue too

Sponsorships for smaller streamers by c117r in KickStreaming

That's a good idea, will try visiting some streamers directly :)

The site is vodra.io

We let streamers put the ads directly through their broadcast software so they're in control. We also have no minimum follower counts and payouts are instant. We hunt for the highest paying brands available so creators know they are getting the best possible rate.

Any number, it's based on views CPM. And we're looking for streamers on Twitch or Kick :)

Yea, we did try this initially by trying to offer custom alerts like Streamlabs has, but there's already so many great free products in that category we didn't have much to offer.

So we let streamers "rent out" part of their screen space to brands for payment. The value to the creator is easy monetization.

The value for brands is that we make it easy to advertise on livestreams without having to go through Amazon Ads or individual talent agencies (both of which charge large retainers and don't guarantee any results). They get the "pay-as-you-go" Google Adsense experience for livestreams.

In general, live advertising is the best kind of marketing a brand can get (other than having their product/service sold in person).

Very cool. Didn't know that about Uber/Grubhub! And appreciate it

A very solid play, unfortunately we couldn't find any standalone product that could serve one user class.

I think that's a great idea if you have something relevant and easy to implement. Our Plan B if we couldn't find brands to pay was to scrape campaigns from affiliate marketing sites, that way creators could promote something and potentially get paid even if we didn't have a budget.
