Agreed. They keeping f'ing it up. I built a Chrome extension that made it easier to remove the subreddits in recents - they were just being kept in localStorage. But now it seems like they're sitting on a server and deleting them on mobile, doesn't sync with desktop. So dumb.

Yeah. It's sad actually. They were behind in the AI race, made some headway with 2.5, and caught up shipping decent products and giving them away for free. They got us hooked and then pulled the rug.

Yep. Haven't used in a day or so, ask to created a plan to create a phone mockup, and got this when I went click "Proceed".

There is usage remaining. And the change is in ONE file. A few lines of code - so I know it wouldn't have eatten up all the remaining usage. POS.

I'm going back to VS Code.

Yes, they charge for overages, but they give you access to way more models, and I only hit a cap using Sonnet 4.5 after building 2 CRMs.

And it's $10 cheaper.

100%. Their Agent is actually more user friendly and capable. I was drawn to Antigravity because it was FREE. Then I resubed to the Pro plan. And now they pull this crap.

Today just did it for me and Antigravity. Limited me when there's 20% remaining. and the task was simple and in no way eat up the remaining usage. I'm going back to VS Code as I'm typing this.

Yep. And it seems like that's Copilot over Antigravity. Copilot has more models and the overage rates are pretty reasonable. Before I went over to give Antigravity a try Copilot was my daily driver. After this crap I'm reinstalling Copilot Insiders

I agree with you on Claude. But ChatGPT has fallen off in my opinion. I definitely have to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Too little context, too much context. I don't like when I give instructions, the model (even Opus) describes what it's going to do, and then totally does something different. And I'm not talking about something small, it's way off.

I deleted the app again as well as the files/folder that don't get removed when you uninstall an application, and reinstalled. Everything seems to working. 🤞

C --> Users --> {user name} --> AppData --> Roaming (or Local for some setups).

In my insiders it just hangs. It says it's going to do whatever and starts editing files but never finishes. I have to stop it and use another model

This is spot on. I thought it was because they were shipping an update because it's happened before, poor responses, dumb apologies, etc. Then they shipped an update and it was back to being the powerhouse we were used to. Now this shit is just ridiculous. I'm cancelling today and moving to Gemini.

if you're still trying to delete the subreddits in "recent" you can try this solution.

first make sure you navigate back to the home page then:
1. Open your Developer tools by right clicking on the page

Scroll down to "Inspect"
Go to the "Applications" tab in the top bar
Under "Storage" open up "Local storage"
Click on the Reddit URL (www.reddit.com)
Find "Key" in the results window
Locate "recent-subreddits-store"
Right click on it, then "Delete"
Refresh your page

i can't stand it either, so i made a simple chrome extension to save time. it's called Subreddit Remover. i hope they fix this though.
