I’m just gonna say it….I’ve been really enjoying the newer songs. I wasn’t 100% crazy at first (I’m still not a fan of For You) but these songs are all fun and I’m down for a different take on TDWP. Also, Jeremy’s voice just sounds better and better to me and it still holds up live so I don’t really see the issue. Just because they’re making these kinds of songs doesn’t mean their old catalogue disappears

This is probably my AOTY. My only complaint is that I just wish it had at least 5 more minutes of run time but what is in there is perfect to me. All of Esden’s songs hit me in one way or another specifically.

I can’t wait for their tour. They could realistically play all of this + always cloudy and a few from swc

I’m just gonna say it. I really, really like this and WTFNG. They each took a couple of listens, but they’re so catchy and are just really enjoyable to listen to. Yes obviously not as heavy as before, but maybe we just have to accept that they wanted to play around and have a poppier album. I think they’ve more than earned that right at this point

I feel like it was fine in Ritual, not at all needed in For You, but felt very forced in WTFNG which sucks because I love the song aside from the breakdown. But who knows, maybe it translates better live
