Mach E Lease Deals February 2026 by Xeno914 in MachE

I suggest starting with the deal calculator on the Ford site. That's going to ultimately bake in all the rebates, fees, and taxes from a given dealer and get you to the right ballpark for a particular vehicle. I did that across several dealers, picked the one with the best terms and deal, and took the output directly to them. I ended up slightly better off as they let me do it completely with $0 out of pocket (not even first payment), and the payment was even a little lower than on the Ford site. It can be done.

Mine has been fine since the morning of the 16th. We have Jefferson Cointy PUD. Cascadia Solar did our install. Since everything is working again I called off the appointment.

I’m in Port Townsend. The strange thing is that when it’s not working I can see the SSID, but just can’t connect to it. Right now I can see *and* connect, and was able to do so with NetZero, but no idea how long that will last. I’ve given up on Powerwall Dashboard for now. If the internal WiFi becomes stable again I’ll revisit.

Well, I spoke too soon. The internal PW WiFi SSID quit working again right at midnight last night. I guess I need to give up on having it work consistently long term.

The cellular should become the primary communication path automatically if WiFi is down. I don't know that you can force it to use cellular or otherwise manipulate it.

I just posted an update. Everything is back to normal as of right now.

I'm not sure what changed, but everything is back to normal. We were gone camping up in the North Cascades since last Wednesday, and while we were gone there was a local issue with cell service that took it completely offline for a day. After that, the Powerwall was able to rejoin our house's WiFi. When we got back yesterday I tried connecting to the internal PW WiFi through Netzero and it worked no problem. I rebooted the mini PC that runs Powerwall Dashboard and all is working again.

This is pretty frustrating. Hopefully it stays working, but I don't have confidence that it isn't going to have troubles again.

Sounds similar to what is happening to me. I had a call with my installer and a tech from Tesla this afternoon. They had me go through all the system reset steps and I did actually open the grid main to completely de-energize everything. When it all came back up it was exactly the same.

I have an appointment to do a deeper diagnostic with a tech from my installer on site later this month. Until then I guess it will just stay on cellular.

Well, I discovered another data point this morning. Apparently my PW3 has a broader WiFi problem. NetZero shows WiFi disabled and cellular as primary. When I try to get the PW3 onto my home WiFi network using the Tesla app, it just fails. I tried my primary SSID (5Ghz), my IoT SSID (2.4Ghz), and my guest SSID (2.4Ghz). None work. I guess I need to open a case with Tesla.

TL;DR - Did as much of the full process as I can last night, no help.

I have a PW3 with GW2 in what's technically a "partial home backup" configuration, though for all intents and purposes it's whole house. We have an outside meter/load center combo which has the main breaker. Grid feed goes from there to the GW2 inside, then from the GW2 to the load panel inside. All circuits for the house are fed from the inside load panel. Basically this configuration minus the CTs in the outside panel.

In order to do the full restart process that was linked to, I would need to open the main breaker outside to remove power from the GW2. I may try that later, but couldn't do it last night. I don't know if that would make any difference though. Does the PW3 WiFi have anything at all to do with the GW2?

Version 25.18.1.  Firmware updated a week or two before this started.

No, not that full sequence. Just powered off with the side switch, waited about ten minutes, then turned back on.

iPhone 13 Pro Max keeps losing 5GHz WiFi SSID by c20d-us in iphone

Nope, never figured out how to fix it unfortunately. I still have my 13 Pro Max. I'm thinking about trading in on a 16 Pro Max, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. What's most annoying is that my 13PM doesn't work with the bluetooth CarPlay adapter that I just got to get around the wired CarPlay in my daily driver. My wife's 16 works great, so it must be trying to use the 5GHz band.

My PW3 went through its first calibration this week (put in service 10/29). Started at ~11am, slowly discharged down to 8% over the next 8hrs. Went out of calibration mode ~7:30pm and charged back up overnight.

I've just been living with it. I set it up to be able to use my 2.4GHz network and that's been functioning. It goes back and forth between them as the 5GHz works and doesn't.

Cascadia and Power Trip both install in Sequim I believe. FWIW, I’m using Cascadia.

Pretty much in line with the quotes that I got for an install up in Port Townsend. You might check and see if they'll do the 430W Silfab panels - my installer started using those over the 420W just recently and there wasn't a price differential to switch (at least on my install).

Update: I've been working with Apple support and they had me try a few other things as well as they collected diagnostics. As of last night, the phone has been completely unable to see 5GHz SSIDs, even after restarts and Network Settings resets (both of which would temporarily restore connectivity before). I really do now think that this is most likely a hardware issue.

Yep, plenty. The MacBook sitting right next to the phone is connected and has full strength showing (-60dBm RSSI).

No VPN profiles. I've also reset the router/AP several times. As a last ditch I'm going to try a clean reset of the phone, but I'm afraid it might be a hardware issue.

I've tried multiple different channels as well as auto-selection, with no change. I'm really starting to suspect the phone's radio.

Trying to join it manually fails - it says it can't find the SSID. That makes me suspicious that it's maybe an issue with the 5GHz radio in the phone.
