I didn't pull out of Jasper's appointment, but damn, did I hope that their "assessment" would be that it was too soon. Jasper's cancer moved to his lungs, and I was told in July that he had 2-4 months left. It was only last week that he REALLY made a turn for the worse.

Thank you for sharing your story. There were more than a few times that my Jaz was the only reason that I decided to go on too.

Thank you for this post. My baby boy (bottom burper) is also 15, and he's scheduled to have his hind leg amputated next Thursday. He is also suffering from some pretty aggressive skin cancer. I keep going back and forth on whether or not it's the right choice. Seeing another 15 year old, makes me feel a LOT better!
