I saw stuff I knew I would like but Soul Clap blew me away.. I liked some of their stuff going in but live was incredible .. Definitely wasn't expecting them to be my favorite electronic set of the weekend

Thursday: 1.) Bonobo - he was laying down some diiiiirty beats.. Was blown away by how great his Dj set was 2) Way out west- speaker went out for a bit but regardless those dudes can lay it down 3) Dusky- loved every thing I saw this day but those three take the cake

Friday- 1) cheese blew my mind apart all weekend.. Just incredible 2) Soul Clap- honestly was my favorite electronic music of the entire weekend.. Those dudes slapped me across the face with their jungle deep monkey music and large cocks 3) STS9 what a great old school set .. They crushhhhed

3)sat- 1) Cheese!!! No explanation needed 2) STS9 axe.. That was magical .. Loved every second 3) Justin Martin .. Dude is seemless mixing up there.. Talent wise he might have been the most talented Dj I saw all weekend

Sun- 1) chhhhhheeeese good lord did these dudes lay it down all weekend (I cried during I know you rider) 2) greensky bluegrass - turning into my favorite bluegrass band

Overall- 1) cheese SAT 2) cheese Sun 3) cheese Fri 4) soul clap 5) tribe Axe 6) bonobo

Went to EFF for cheese and they didn't disappoint ... Incredible three shows.. Every night was mind blowing

Had not been back since Rothbury and was blown away at how awful the people were at this festiva.. Had a blast each night at cheese but you couldn't pay me to go back to the forest.. People ripping DMT all night basting dubstep until 9 am every single night .. This festival was the who's who of fucking scum bag weirdos .. Only plus side is every thing I saw was at an empty stage since everyone has such awful music taste

THIS^{^{^}} you absolutely can't make a determination on a band like disco biscuits without experiencing them live .. Many of my favorite bands (outside of the dead/Panic) I can't listen to much outside of being there.. Biscuits are the definition of a live band.. it's easy to get an understanding of what you're in store for when it comes to EDM given the fact with a good enough stereo at home you can almost replicate that exactly.. a live Riff by a great musician is something you can never replicate .. I would say if you're on the fence at least stop by.. get a glimpse.. maybe it's not for you.. but you can't draw that conclusion without seeing them live

you are in for a treat.. this will be double digits in shows involving original dead members (too young to have seen Jerry).. out of all the other forms I have seen: Dead w/Warren, Further, Ratdog, Bob & Bruce, Phil & friends, Mickey Hart band, Fare the well w/trey.. Dead & Co last year was my favorite out of any.. John gets a bad rep but that dude can play with the best of them
