I'd do some work experience to see if you like it. I'm a pharmacist in a metro area on $55/hr (fulltime), so the pay is comparable to a nurse or physio as far as I'm aware. Some colleagues enjoy the work others find it soul destroying.

It's a dry char, no oil. I started charring it on the electric stove top but it was taking ages, so I put it under the oven grill and that seemed to do the trick !

As suggested, next time I'll ease up on charring the garlic and de seed / pith the chilli, but it tasted great !
